KOMMONSENTSJANE – The DNC (QUINCEANERA) Danced Around A Key Harris Weakness – Now Jerome Powell Takes It On…

8/23/2024

THE DNC QUINCEANERA DANCE – KAMALA HARRIS:

This is KAMALA HARRIS’ Quinceanera which is known for the celebration of a girl’s 15th birthday. It’s a transformation for a teenage girl into womanhood. She entered politics in 2010 as the AG for CA according to the internet. SHE IS NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME.

DOES HARRIS NOT KNOW WHO/WHAT SHE IS?

Harris has been quoted as saying “I believe in capitalism, but capitalism is not working for most people” and has said that she is not a socialist but insists that more needs to be done to ensure equal opportunities, particularly for working people.

When Harris accepted the Democratic Party’s socialist/Marxists (Obama) goals which are split at the time – the old JFK/LBJ/log cabin goals against the Marxists goals.

It looks like she is straddling that BORDER FENCE, AGAIN. Her legs are on each side – Mexico’s socialist side/the U.S. Democrats side/Marxism? If she continues her present strategy – she is what she needs to be on any given day and time – now that she is trying to out fox and get out from Biden’s Bidenomics’ umbrellas AND OUT FOX THE SYSTEM by not telling us where she stands on anything.

Harris should understand – the boat only floats when that person makes it by effort – which is hard work – not by being WOKE/DEI or pushed up in the ladder of education. It takes hard work and being consistent in your attempt. Most people don’t want to work that hard and JUMP ON and ride the WOKE/DEI boat.

And, that is not good – once that happens – you are labeled for life by the Democrat Socialists like Kamala who was a DEI student.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘ greatest political weakness—the economy—took a back seat at a Democratic National Convention framed largely around joy, vibes and excitement.

How can you not know economics and be that inexperienced and want to run for the President position? The problem is she doesn’t know how the world works.

People love joy/vibes/excitement; but, you can’t live/eat/work and pay THE bills on their jargon – JOY/VIBES/EXCITEMENT.

Families in the U.S. are living from paycheck to paycheck and some are not even able to pay their bills with the high prices of daily living. It doesn’t affect Kamala’s rich friends or her.

The problem is that Biden/Harris lived above their means in running the government. She and Joe are BIG SPENDERS while the people suffer.

WE CANNOT AFFORD THE DNC/BIDEN/HARRIS

Kamala Harris Slams Trump On Economy: ‘No Serious Plans’

(And Harris DOES? The DNC/Kamala talked all around the economy and MISSED THE MARK ON THE ECONOMY – criticizing Trump when she completely failed – NOT ONE PEEP.)

Vice President Kamala Harris‘ greatest political weakness—the economy—took a back seat at a Democratic National Convention framed largely around joy, vibes and excitement. Now it will fall to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to provide some clarity when he delivers a highly anticipated speech on Friday.New Mexico:Omaha Steaks' Premium Steak – Limit One Per Household.

Democrats did focus their convention on a number of policies, from reproductive rights to criminal justice, health care and even immigration, another weakness. But pocketbook issues like inflation and wage growth received less attention from speakers throughout the week, despite polls that show those among the pitfalls that could hobble Harris’ campaign come November.

A CBS News/YouGov poll released last week found that 83% of respondents believe the economy is a major factor in this election—and that Donald Trump led among those worried about their own personal finances.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll two days later showed Trump leading Harris by 9 points, 46-37%, in trust to handle the economy.

Despite those flashing warning signs for the Democratic party, their convention was largely built around other issues intended to energize the party’s base, political experts told Newsweek.Look For Any High School Yearbook, It's Free

Now, after the balloons have fallen from the rafters of the United Center, the chair of the Federal Reserve will deliver a policy speech from the central bank’s annual symposium in Jackson Hole Friday morning that is likely to provide some hints about the state of the U.S. economy as the general election gets underway in earnest.

Powell is likely to say the Fed has become more confident that inflation is nearing its 2% target—tumbling from a 7.1% peak two years ago. The bank’s “soft landing” goal of inflation being curbed without causing a recession or large unemployment rise is now within sight. But he is not expected to explicitly flag a September rate cut.

Minutes from the Fed’s most recent meeting at the end of last month showed that the vast majority of the 19 policymakers said they would likely support a rate reduction at the next meeting in mid-September, assuming inflation remained low.

Markets are pricing in a cut of either a typical quarter-point or a more aggressive half-point drop and investors will be watching closely for any clues on the pace and size of future cuts.

Stock futures rose Friday morning ahead of the speech, with Dow Jones Industrial Average gaining 84 points (0.2%), those on the S&P 500 were up 0.4% and the Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.6% in premarket trading. Asian shares were mixed in muted trading Friday, although Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 rose 0.4%.

Economists note forthcoming data, especially the monthly jobs report on Sept. 6 will determine the size of further cuts beyond next month’s meeting.

“We think he will seek to dampen expectations of (a half-point cut) as well as reiterate that the Fed is data-dependent and does not make decisions in advance,” Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, wrote in a research note.

Powell’s remarks come amid conflicting economic indicators, one or more of which could turn into this election cycle’s October surprise.

On the one hand, the economy is humming along. Big banks like Goldman Sachs no longer believe a recession is imminent, corporate earnings have been decent-to-strong and stocks are essentially back to levels they were a month ago—before a brief but sharp drop—and still up double-digits on the year.

And yet, there are signs of cracks forming.

This week, the Labor Department revealed that the job market is significantly weaker than it has appeared, with payroll figures revised downward by more than 800,000—a shocking 28%—for the 12 months ending in March. The Canadian government is working to resolve a rail stoppage, an X factor that could throw North American supply chains into chaos ahead of the holiday season. Consumer spending, the bedrock of the economy, has slowed as inflation-weary shoppers turn prudent.

These are issues that got scant attention this week in Chicago, for good reason (no one likes a party pooper). And Harris may well take a renewed focus on kitchen-table economic concerns as she hits the trail in earnest over the coming weeks, Anne Danehy, a professor of political science at Boston University, told Newsweek on Thursday.

“I think that they’ll bring much more concrete policy on the economy. Right now, this is establishing what the Harris-Walz ticket, and this is who we are. These are our values,” she said.

She noted that some economic priorities—tax cuts and prescription drug prices among them—have received more attention from speakers at the DNC. Inflation, she said, took a back seat as it is “a bit of a downer,” and is more difficult to discuss at an event intended to “invigorate” Democratic voters.

Some speakers, such as Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey, did play up the economy in their speeches, albeit in broad strokes.

“We need to make life more affordable for working people. Donald Trump, the felon, has no plans to lower costs for families. He doesn’t know how, and he doesn’t really care,” said Warren.

Republican strategist Matt Klink told Newsweek that Democrats “missed a huge opportunity to discuss pocketbook issues during the convention, specifically to highlight to consumers how they will focus on lowering prices.”

“Doing so won’t occur by going after grocery stores and ‘evil’ corporations. Proving price gouging is extremely difficult to prove and rarely occurs,” he said, referring to one of the concrete economic policies Harris has thus far unveiled—a widely panned plan to institute price controls on grocery stores.

He said that Democrats have spent so much time on reproductive rights because they believe it will bolster Harris’ standing with suburban women, a key voting bloc. He added, however, that these voters “also care about other issues, specifically the cost of food, rising insurance costs, and the high price of gasoline or a failing public education system.”

“Conventions cater to the party faithful, the true believers in the party. Little effort has been made during the 2024 Chicago Convention to appeal to moderates. Democrats have focused on ‘joy’ and ‘freedom,’ but only the freedoms a more activist, powerful government, as envisioned by the Harris-Walz ticket, would provide its citizens,” he said.

Indeed, in her keynote address accepting the nomination on Thursday, Harris spoke about housing costs and called for an “opportunity economy,” but did not mention gas prices, grocery costs or interest rates that have affected things like Americans’ ability to buy a home, insure their car or take out a loan.

Donald Trump noticed. Speaking to Fox News immediately after the speech, the former president said:

“She didn’t talk about interest rates. I mean, the interest rates are now getting close to record rates. People can’t do business. Nobody can borrow money. People can’t go to the American dream and buy a house because they can’t afford the interest rate. And even if they could, the money isn’t available.”

In fact, mortgage rates have been inching down as markets price in the expected interest rate cuts by the Fed.

Grant Davis Reeher, a professor of political science at Syracuse University, told Newsweek that independent voters may look back on the DNC wanting more from the party, noting that more substantive plans have been “lacking” so far.

“Staying murky on substance might be a good thing, if they can keep the honeymoon going,” Reeher said. “I think many of the Democratic stands on domestic policies related to pocketbook issues might alienate them from the voters that they’ll need in the battleground states. Certainly, some of the things that appeal to the base.”

He noted that Harris has had less time to craft a more concrete policy platform given that she only entered the race a month ago.

“The lack of substance and definition in the campaign’s message at the convention might reflect that they are still trying to figure out their stands on those economic issues, and what they are going to offer that’s different,” he said.

Newsweek reached out to the Harris campaign for comment via email.

Meena Bose, the executive dean of Hofstra University’s Peter S. Kalikow School of Government, Public Policy and International Affairs, told Newsweek that Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, are likely to craft a more cogent economic message as the campaign goes on.

“The swift shift from Biden to Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee just four weeks ago makes the convention focus on freedom, democracy, and broader themes of political participation and governance unsurprising,” she said.

Danehy, from BU, said that despite less specific discussion of economic policies, the DNC was among “the most strategic convention” she has ever seen.

“It seems like it’s very clear, the message they’re trying to convey. What they’re trying to go after, to get those small undecided voters … to win them over,” she said.

Time will tell whether the limited focus on the economy in August will matter in November. Presidential elections have a way of turning on a dime—just ask Barack Obama. In 2008, as he accepted his party’s nomination, the candidate crafted an acceptance speech heavy on foreign policy, slamming George W. Bush repeatedly over the Iraq War.

Less than three weeks later, Lehman Brothers collapsed.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – FACT CHECK- HERE IS WHAT CLAIMS KAMALA HARRIS GOT RIGHT AND WRONG DURING HER DNC SPEECH.

8/23/2024

Harris is an inexperienced person in her own right. She was a prosecutor who used her position for political hits and caused a lot of families grief – especially during the BLM RIOTS.

She is a California liberal who knows no bounds for following the law. She gained her advantage through a personal/intimate association with Willie Brown, a married politician.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – WHEN THE DEMOCRATS/OBAMA GOES LOW TO SHOW HIS REAL CHARACTER???

8/22/2024

Obama/Billary/Oprah/Michelle BARN-STORMED THE DNC – where were all of the elected officials – no where in site. Complaints within:

Too many preachy females.

8/21/2024

In short: Obama is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office.

The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that’s when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.

Former President Barry Obama went mighty low by inferring former President Trump has a small penis during his speech on the second night of the issue and policy-free Democrat National Convention.

“There’s the childish nicknames,” Barry said of Trump. “The crazy conspiracy theories.” Then he added, “This weird obsession with crowd sizes.”

At this point, Barry lifted both hands to indicate a large size, looked down, and then brought his hands closer together to indicate a smaller size.

The crowd roared. The cheap and vulgar inference was obvious to anyone who watched. It sure was obvious to the crowd.

Hey, when you’re trying to get Kamala Harris elected, someone who cannot run on policy or her record, I guess the crotch is all you have left.

One can only wonder just how much room Trump occupies under Obama’s thin skin for Barry to lower and demean himself in this way. Good heavens, the guy is a former president. He’s standing in front of the whole country. Nevertheless, he’s still so emasculated over Trump’s 2016 victory, he can’t control himself.

What’s especially revealing is that just one sentence after attacking Trump as “childish,” Barry goes for a dick joke. Obama’s crude lack of self-control, the rage and pettiness, are beyond obvious.

But this is one of the things we love about The Donald. His supernatural ability to reveal who these people truly are is a great gift to our country. Even former First Lady Michelle Obama, someone who branded herself as “When they go low, we go high” lady, went mighty low Tuesday night.

There was nothing inspirational or elevated about her speech. She went right to the racial division, which is usually her hideous husband’s job:

“For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us,” she said. His “narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hardworking, highly educated, successful people who happened to be black.”

KOMMONSENTSJANE – NEWSWEEK MAGAZINE CLOSES WITH A PARTING SHOT AT OBAMA

Posted on January 14, 2016 by kommonsentsjane

Subject:  Newsweek Magazine Closes

Newsweek magazine closes with a parting shot at our illustrious leader.  This article sums it up in a nutshell.  Wonder why it wasn’t this vocal before the elections?

Newsweek is now history – wonderful where are all the liberals and why they didn’t support this magazine?

The liberal Newsweek Magazine is going out of business but not before it attacks the President. Wonderful story!

This is quite an article, even more so when you consider that NEWSWEEK finally had the guts to admit it.

Finally, Matt Patterson and Newsweek speak out about Obama. This is timely and tough. As many of you know, Newsweek has a reputation for being extremely liberal. The fact that their editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama and the one that appears in the latest Newsweek, makes this a truly amazing event, and a news story in and of itself. At last, the truth about our President and his Agenda are starting to trickle through the protective wall built around him by the liberal media.

By : Matt Patterson
(Newsweek Columnist – Opinion Writer)

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama’s pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a “community organizer;” a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, less often did he vote “present”); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama’s “spiritual mentor;” a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama’s colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?

There is no evidence that he ever attended or worked for any university or that he ever sat for the Illinois bar. We have no documentation for any of his claims. He may well be the greatest hoax in history. Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day.

But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberaldom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit’ extreme, he was given a pass. Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass – held to a lower standard because of the color of his skin. Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) “non-threatening,” all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest? Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon – affirmative action.

Not in the legal sense, of course. But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves. Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.

Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow. Liberals don’t care if these minority students fail; liberals aren’t around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action.

Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin, that’s affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn’t racism, then nothing is. And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama’s oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people – conservatives included – ought now to be deeply embarrassed. The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that’s when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.

Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth – it’s all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years. (An example is his 2012 campaign speeches which are almost word for word his 2008 speeches) and what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task.

It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. (The other day he actually came out and said no one could have done anything to get our economy and country back on track). But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office.

PS: Please send this article to all family and friends throughout America and ask them to read and distribute this article to others. This is the reason that America and the WORLD in general is in such dire straits!!
