The Democrats are after the National Football League (NFL) to change the name of the Washington Redskins football team.  Now why are they so hot and bothered about this name when there are so many real problems on the menu?  The reason is the fact they are called the Washington Redskins and the team is located in that part of the country where the government is located.   It reminds these Democrats every time they hear the name “Redskins” how terrible they have treated and neglected  this group of people.  The name only brings this to the forefront.  If they drop the name, Redskins,  these Democrats  will be able to forget about these people altogether.  They centralized these people on reservations and now they are trying to do the rest of the country the same way by putting us on the Democrats’ Plantation and by trying to control the people.  If the Justice Department were doing their job, most of these people in the Democratic party would be in jail.

The team logo was designed by Native Indian leaders; and, cities’ surveys show that Native Indians and Americans  wholly support the name, including a 2014 Associated Press poll that showed 83 percent of Americans favored to keep the name.  The term “Redskins” originated as Native Americans’ expression of solidarity.   This name is respectful of and shows reference toward the proud legacy and traditions of Native Americans.

As the old saying goes, “out of sight, out of mind!  This has nothing to do with racism and bigotry.
