A visa is an endorsement that the government officials place on a passport to show that the passport is valid.  Officials of the country which a traveler is entering grant the visa.  It certifies that the passport has been examined and approved.  Immigration then permit the bearer to enter the country and proceed on his journey.  A passport is a travel document that  identifies the holder as a citizen of the country by which it is issued.  A passport requests other countries to give the holder a safe passage and all lawful aid and protection.  All passports have a time limit when entering a country – date entering and date leaving.  It seems though  America has lost track of 48,642 foreign students and have no idea where these people are.   These people’s visas have expired.  There are 240,000 Homeland Security workers who are supposed to keep up with these people.  They must have been too busy watching porn or making videos!  This would not happen in any other country that is for sure.  If you over stayed your visa they would come looking for you!
