Something I read has puzzled me and I hope that some one out there can explain it to me.  I read a quote by our leader:

“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world, I hope you’ll join with me, as we change it.”

I hope some one comments out there and helps me understand this.  Why do we want to change the country if we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world?  I know we can improve,  especially in our government spending.  We help the whole world with their problems!  We send our men and boys out to protect people who don’t even like us!  We have men and boys who have been killed protecting these people and the only thing we get are our men and boys returning home maimed.  So what is with this quote!  I have another quote I like better!

“Life is tough, Pilgrim, and it’s even tougher if you’re stupid.”  John Wayne

We are broke,  folks – what do we have to do to prove it?
