Scamala: All Tricks, No Treats

Kamala has dodged every direct question, week after week, taking no responsibility for the border crisis she manufactured and brushing aside the inflation she and Biden caused. She lives in an alternate reality of what has transpired during the last four years.

Kamala would be a complete disaster for our country and would make the world an even more dangerous place.

Trump will win a decisive victory on November  5. Why? When the “truly undecided” voters go to mark their ballot in the swing states, they will focus on two issues: their money and their safety, which they know is also tied to the border issue. They know President Trump had a very successful presidency, while the last four years with Kamala as VP have been a chaotic disaster. They will send Donald Trump back to the White House – the choice has never been clearer.

Football Season Sheds Light on the Harris-Biden Administration’s Border Security Failures

The Harris-Biden administration has failed to secure our border, and football season gives us a good perspective. Every weekend, more than 100,000 fans pack some college football stadiums. It’s about the same number of unvetted illegal immigrants that Kamala has invited to cross our borders every 7-10 days for the last four years.

These illegal immigrants, often dangerous criminals, represent a serious threat to our nation and make it crystal clear that Kamala and Biden have sold out our country.

An Event with Senator Brandon Creighton

As soon as I landed back in Houston from Dallas last Tuesday, I went to Conroe to join Senator Brandon Creighton for his event. I appointed him Education and Higher Education Chair in 2021 and 2023. He passed our school choice bill out of the Senate four times over multiple special sessions last year, only for it to die in the House under Speaker Dade Phelan. It will be one of the first bills we pass in the next session. We’ll keep passing it until the House finally passes it. Besides last year, we’ve passed it out of the Senate in previous years, but the House has never even given it a hearing.

Senator Lois Kolkhorst, who shares part of Montgomery County with Senator Creighton and Senator Bettencourt, attended as well.

President Biden is not capable of making decisions in his present condition and was leading the citizens down the wrong path by putting the carts before the horses. Our electrical grids at this time are not strong enough for ALL ELECTRIC systems. Some areas are in rolling black-outs at the present time and requests are being made to use a time-frame for your home when using electricity.

Cars in the cold parts of the country are having trouble with the batteries in the winter time and the government bought all of these electric cars/buses and they won’t run.

Biden tried to MAKE IT HAPPEN and he found out the hard way – we are not ready to make that step – that you can’t put a square peg in a round hole.

The Biden-Harris administration’s drive toward “electrifying everything”—from your stove to your car—has stirred up fresh debate about its true effectiveness and whether it’s even sustainable. While this “electrify” push has been marketed as the climate-friendly solution, new data from the administration’s own sources is starting to reveal an inconvenient truth: our current grid may not be ready to handle such a massive load, and this push could actually make energy less affordable for most Americans.

Let’s break it down. At the heart of the electrification agenda is the claim that electricity, particularly from renewable sources like wind and solar, is a more efficient, eco-friendly energy source than traditional options like natural gas or oil. The administration’s clean energy goals hinge on getting as many Americans as possible to replace fossil-fuel-powered vehicles and appliances with electric ones, all while beefing up renewable energy production to keep the grid “green” and reliable. In theory, it sounds straightforward—but, like most grand government ideas, it’s facing real-world limitations.

Recent data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), a part of Biden’s own federal framework, suggests that renewable energy might not be as reliable or sufficient as promised. The grid is nowhere near ready to take on the burden of millions of electric cars, electric heating systems, and all-electric homes. At current capacity, there are real concerns that the power supply can’t keep up, particularly during peak times, leaving Americans at risk of blackouts or steep energy bills.

Let’s be real here—what’s the point of installing an electric stove, heating system, or car charger if the grid can’t handle it without constant interruptions? Americans depend on a reliable energy supply to keep their families safe, warm, and functioning, and right now, it seems we’re being promised a future of electric efficiency that the grid itself can’t deliver.

And it’s not just reliability that’s at stake; the impact on American wallets is another major factor. By pushing for mandatory electrification, the administration is putting forward an incredibly expensive bill that’s going to be passed down to the consumer. New electric appliances, vehicles, and home upgrades don’t come cheap, and there’s also the question of how local power utilities will deal with the increased load. With higher demand, we’re likely to see higher energy prices, a cost that’ll be passed down to working- and middle-class Americans who are already feeling the pinch from inflation.

Now, the administration may argue that renewable energy sources will fill the gap, making electric energy both clean and cost-effective. But here’s the kicker: renewable energy currently relies on the sun shining and the wind blowing. And when those sources are offline, the grid needs a backup—usually in the form of fossil fuels, the very thing this administration is trying to eliminate. So, unless we suddenly crack the code on reliable, large-scale energy storage, there’s a big gap between the electric dream and the reality of maintaining a steady, clean energy supply.

With all these unanswered questions, it’s no wonder people are starting to feel skeptical about the “electrify everything” vision. On paper, it’s painted as a climate-friendly, cost-effective solution, but the details reveal it could strain families financially and leave them vulnerable to power shortages. Perhaps instead of forcing an electrification overhaul, the government should prioritize strengthening our existing grid and building up renewable sources that can actually meet demand.

After all, a strong, resilient energy system that works for everyone—one that doesn’t raise prices or put us at risk of blackouts—is what American families need right now. The question is, will this administration listen to the data and adjust its plans, or will it stick to a one-size-fits-all approach, regardless of the costs? Only time will tell, but it’s high time the American people got some straightforward answers.
