After TIME Criticizes Kamala’s Hiding from the Press, Another Top Outlet Condemns Her

Kamala Harris’s record as a politician has been far from stellar. From her lackluster performance in handling the U.S.-Mexico border crisis to her absence in shaping major policy decisions, her tenure has been riddled with underachievement. Her handling of the economic challenges, one of the key areas she’s supposed to focus on, has raised eyebrows across the political spectrum.

But instead of holding her accountable, much of the media has bent over backward to prop her up. News outlets have gone out of their way to hide her failures, hoping the public will support her blindly.

It’s not the first time this has happened, either. For years, left-leaning publications have worked hard to sell Kamala Harris as a trailblazer, a symbol of progress. But when we dig deeper, her accomplishments pale in comparison to the grand narrative being pushed. Yet the tide seems to be turning.

Recently, TIME magazine’s owner, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, publicly criticized Harris for refusing an interview. Now, another big name in the media is joining the chorus of discontent—hinting that the media protection around her might finally be cracking.

Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait declared on Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris is “so far” dodging an interview about her economic policies three weeks before Election Day…

“Just for the record and those people watching on television, the Economic Club of Chicago and Bloomberg both invited Vice President Harris to a similar interview about her economic plans — she has declined so far,” Micklethwait said.

Even Bloomberg Is Turning on Her

This week, John Micklethwait, Bloomberg’s Editor-in-Chief, took a direct shot at Harris. He revealed during an Economic Club of Chicago event that Harris has so far declined to participate in an interview about her economic policies despite numerous requests.

What made this moment even more pointed was that Micklethwait was interviewing none other than Harris’s 2024 rival, Donald Trump. Harris’s refusal to engage on this key issue so close to Election Day raises serious questions. If she believes in her policies, why not defend them publicly?

The timing couldn’t be worse for Harris. Not only has she ducked Bloomberg, but she’s also refused interviews with TIME. Benioff even mentioned on X (formerly Twitter) how both Trump and even President Biden, before his departure from the race, had sat down for interviews. Yet Harris remains elusive.

It’s a troubling look for someone vying for the highest office in the land. Meanwhile, polling shows Harris struggling in swing states, where Trump’s tough economic stance is winning over undecided voters.

Hiding Behind Friendly Media?

In an apparent effort to control the damage, Harris has been increasing her media appearances—but only on shows where she knows she’ll get a warm reception. From fluff-filled interviews on “The View” to casual chats with Howard Stern, she’s not exactly facing the tough questions.

Even her interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” stirred controversy after the network was caught deceptively editing her responses. No wonder voters are asking for more transparency from a candidate who seems to struggle without a teleprompter.

Despite this recent uptick in media spots, Harris still dodges interviews with critical outlets. Bloomberg’s Micklethwait made it clear Harris has avoided a significant opportunity to speak about her economic plans. Even now, three weeks before Election Day, she hasn’t given a full-throated defense of her policies.

As for those interviews she has given? They’re hardly substantive. The fact that outlets like Bloomberg are beginning to call her out is a sign that even left-leaning media giants are fed up with her lack of transparency.

Trump Is Taking Advantage

Meanwhile, Trump has wasted no time taking advantage of Harris’s reluctance to engage. During his own interview with Micklethwait, Trump defended his plan to implement sweeping tariffs, a move Micklethwait described as having a “massive” effect on the economy.

Trump didn’t flinch. “I agree it’s going to have a massive effect—positive effect,” he shot back. It’s this kind of boldness that Harris lacks, and it’s hurting her on the campaign trail.

With polling showing a close race between the two, Harris’s inability to engage with the public in meaningful ways is becoming a liability. Trump, in contrast, is surging ahead in key swing states.

Betting markets are also showing him pulling ahead, largely due to his clear stance on economic issues. Harris, on the other hand, seems to be relying on the same media bubble that has protected her for years—a strategy that’s now unraveling.

Which is more important to the Black people – the CONSTITUTION/BILL OF RIGHTS or having a FAKE LEADER who claims to be BLACK when the bulk of her life she claimed to be Asian and we continue what we are now enduring? Biden/Harris policies have not helped any citizens.

The vote of the Black people will tell us how smart they are and CAN see through KAMALA’S LIES.

Obama/Oprah and the rest of us achieved our success with the help of others through our life’s journey – we did not achieve it on our own.

Now, Obama/Oprah are trying to put us back on the plantation under Kamala with their Marxists views so that Obama can remain relevant. We must get Obama out of our hair, he is not on America’s side.
