Why André Rieu’s “Nearer My God to Thee” Went Viral This Week

The track went viral because it’s the first release from André Rieu’s upcoming album The Sound of Heaven, and its emotional, cinematic arrangement of a historic hymn resonated strongly on TikTok and YouTube, sparking widespread sharing and streaming.
