KOMMONSENTSJANE – Today Was Primary Runoff Voting Day in Kerr County.

05/26/2026

The day was full as usual.

Sorry Democrats, rumors have it that I have switched parties. Don’t you know – you “dance with the one who brought you.”

I voted in the Republican Party Runoff.

In the Primary Runoff today, local Republican and Democratic voters went to separate polling places rather than the same ones as in past elections. Since the Kerr Country Republican Party made the decision to hand count ballots on Election Day, it was necessary for the county clerk to find four other locations to follow the specifications in the Texas Code for a hand count.

It was very efficient. A photo drivers license and Voter’s Registration were required.
