The Biden administration continues to face backlash for its controversial stances and actions. Recently, Biden made a contentious statement on Easter regarding transgenders being “made in the image of God,” coinciding with the “Trans Day of Visibility.” This declaration was made while ignoring one of Christianity’s most sacred days. The official White House X platform account went as far as promoting this narrative.

The administration also stirred controversy by banning religious-themed designs in an Easter art contest and then compounded this with a provocative statement on Easter Sunday itself: “Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, I have a simple message to all trans Americans: I see you. You are made in the image of God, and you’re worthy of respect and dignity.”

This has provoked responses from various figures like Dean Cain who questioned the logic behind altering one’s body if indeed we are created in God’s image. Christina Pushaw from DeSantis’ team cited scripture directly contradicting Biden’s claims. Meanwhile Tim Kennedy emphasized celebrating Jesus’ resurrection rather than political agendas on Easter.

Former President Donald Trump took advantage of Easter Sunday to lambaste his adversaries in no uncertain terms. He vehemently criticized those he views as orchestrating witch hunts against him—aimed at disrupting his potential run in the presidential election of 2024 and seeking to imprison him under false pretenses.

Trump utilized his Truth Social platform to express disdain for corrupt prosecutors and judges intent on destroying America—a nation he sees as failing under current leadership—and singled out specific individuals he believes are partaking in these malicious pursuits.

As Trump put it succinctly: “Happy Easter everyone!” despite his scathing remarks towards those he accuses of trying to interfere with justice and democracy.

The former president also denounced resignations within the House GOP as acts of cowardice—underscoring a party divide that seems only to grow under Democratic governance.

This string of events paints a picture not just of policy disagreements but also highlights how far removed from common decency and respect for foundational beliefs our leaders have strayed under Democratic rule. It is clear that there is much work to be done to restore integrity and uphold traditions that resonate with American values—values that seem increasingly endangered as each day passes under this administration.
