In an interview with Tucker Carlson in July, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund revealed his opinion that “everything appears to be a cover-up” in relation to the events of January 6th, 2021.
Although Fox News initially attempted to keep this conversation private, the National Pulse has begun gradually releasing segments from the interview.
This conversation provides crucial insight into an incident that has been used as a tool by those actively opposed to Donald Trump’s presidency.
When asked about his interest in the matter by Russell Brand, Carlson stated that he was motivated by all of the false information surrounding it.

“So, the more time has passed … it becomes really obvious that core claims they made about January 6 were lies,” said Carlson. “The amount of lying around January 6, and it was obvious in the tapes that I showed, is really distressing.”
Carlson revealed previously unseen footage from the January 6th protests which seemed to contradict the narrative that the media and Jan. 6 committee had crafted.
When speaking to Brand, Carlson mentioned an interview he conducted with Steven Sund – former Chief of the US Capitol Police – prior to his ouster at Fox. During this meeting, Sund emphatically stated that no intelligence had suggested a coordinated attack on the Capitol could occur.
In February 2021, Sund wrote a letter confirming this statement; noting that nothing in their collective experience or intelligence indicated such an assault may happen.
“The entire intelligence community seems to have missed this,” he wrote.
Sund asserted that the Capitol Police had been put in a position to struggle due to the refusal of House and Senate security officials to grant permission to bring in the National Guard prior to the protests, as well as multiple refusals for additional requests during the protests. He noted that National Guard troops were not authorized until 5:40 p.m. on January 6th.
Around 19 minutes into the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” interview, which is being released by the National Pulse piecemeal, Sund says, “If people were reporting the intelligence correctly, if I was allowed to do my job as the chief … we wouldn’t be here. This didn’t have to happen,” stressing, “I’m a little pissed off.”
“Everything appears to be a cover-up,” continued Sund. “Like I said, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but when you look at the information and intelligence they had, the military had, it’s all watered down. … I’m not getting intelligence, I’m denied any support from National Guard in advance. I’m denied National Guard while we’re under attack for 71 minutes.”
“You describe this as a failure to get intelligence to people who needed it, but it sounds like … they were hiding the intelligence,” said Carlson.
“That’s what I’m getting at,” said Sund. “Could there possibly be actually … they kind of wanted something to happen? It’s not a far stretch to begin to think that. You know, it’s sad when you start putting everything together and thinking about the way this played out. … What was their end goal? You look at what’s happening. Was that their end goal?”
Carlson responded, “There’s no question that what happened on January 6 has really helped the Democratic Party. It’s gravely politicized the U.S. military and the intelligence agencies and the FBI. And those are all, I think, bad for America and violations of the Constitution, but they’re all good for the Democratic Party. That’s the facts.”
Sund agreed, asserting that following the events of January 6th, the government had removed the blindfold from Lady Justice and stopped maintaining a stance of neutrality.
Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of the National Pulse, tweeted that Sund’s interview was “absolutely extraordinary” and clarified that no one involved with Jan. 6 was suicidal.
The next segment is set to focus on Ray Epps’ involvement in the protests.

Things hidden from the American public. No disclosure of truth, no indictments for the guilty, and they prosecute and persecute people who walked into the capital, or didn’t.
Why the American people continue to put up with this bullshit (Trump’s name for all that has happened and fits perfectly).
In fact the Trump rally where he said that, was great. The whole crowd chanted “Bullshit” over and over. So fitting.
The meeting on the tarmac where our plutonium was being sold to Russia, along with numerous other examples of traitors in our midst. The American people said nothing. While we have been sold out to our enemies for many years now, the American people said and did nothing.
Now it has come to the most corrupt “president” of our history, and the American people still doing nothing.
All of the years that the globalists spent “dumbing us down” has been proven to have worked. The American people have been shit upon over and over again, and do nothing. It never ceases to amaze me.
Where are all of the people from long ago, that truthfully, peacefully protested? They might have had to cops come and beat them in the heads, and were arrested, and would not give in, but those days are lost.
All of our forefathers, and protectors of this country, fought hard for our freedoms. And we sit and do nothing while our freedoms are taken away.
They bring in illegals by the millions to replace us, while killing us with vaccines, and the sheeple still follow the rules of the govt. so dead set in killing us off and replacing us with unvaccinated illegal aliens that come from countries where they had few if any rights. We will be replaced by them. THE GREAT RESET.
I will never understand why people allow it to happen. Most of them drank too much of the water, I guess. They have been poisoned into idiocy. They have been dumbed down to the point of being scared of their own shadows, refusing to see a false flag for what it is, and instead, expecting, no begging the govt to protect them. What happened to protecting ourselves? Giving up our freedom for protection from false flags, is lunacy. Ronald Reagan said that the scariest thing on earth, was when the govt appears and says: Hi, I’m from the government and I’m here to protect you (not a direct quote, but amounts to the same thing).
These disillusioned lunatics, would not know true danger, from the hole in the ground. The true danger played out the other day, when the FBI shot and killed a 300 pound man, that could not walk without a cane. Now that is scary, and did happen. No one says much about that though. The man’s neighbors did, they were horrified, and said outright that the man was a threat to no one. He took care of his disabled child, and might have run off at the mouth from time to time, but a threat to no one.
If everyone that said something about Biden in a defamatory way is shot, there won’t be many sane people left.
Thank God for Tucker. He is proving to be a true patriot. He brings us truth when so few will.
