The latest edition of Fox News Sunday was a wild one. Things got heated when liberal Fox News contributor Juan Williams attempted to defend Joe Biden’s crackhead son Hunter from charges that he’s leveraged his family name to make shady business deals overseas.

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich was having none of it.

Gingrich schooled Williams on every corrupt transaction Hunter has engaged in: “The widow of the Moscow sent millions of dollars to Hunter Biden. He got money from Kazakhstan. He got money from Ukraine and served on a board about which he knew nothing.

He got a lot of money from China and it’s a fact Juan, that there were $3 million that has been disclosed that went to the Biden family from a Chinese billionaire. That is a fact.”

Williams deflected from the topic at hand to complain about the Trump family: “But you compare that to the graft and the grifting from Trump golf courses, Trump hotels, Chinese shoe deals with the daughter, the son-in-law getting billions from the Saudis. It’s unbelievable.”

This is a classic example of whataboutism from the left. Williams is trying to distract from the crooked dealings of Hunter Biden by pointing the finger at the Trump family.

(Williams is nothing but an empty left suit. President Trump and his family are in business to make money and Biden has never held a job outside of government – that has to meets a payroll.)

This is a desperate attempt at deflection. The Biden family’s corruption is clear and their attempts to cover it up are shameful.

It’s even more alarming that the Biden family is willing to use the name of the Vice President to benefit themselves. As Gingrich pointed out: “Now you can decide that none of this stuff matters, but the fact is you have the Vice President of the United States taking his son on Air Force Two into China where his son is making business deals. And you just described his son. Your language, he’s a sex addict, he’s an alcoholic.”

The Biden family is clearly corrupt and their unwillingness to take responsibility for Hunter’s actions is outrageous. Williams’ attempt to defend Hunter and deflect from the Biden family’s corruption only further proves that the Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their own.

At the end of day, the only thing that matters is that the Biden family has engaged in corrupt business dealings and attempted to cover it up.

As Gingrich said: “They were investing in Joe!” This statement is a perfect summation of the Biden family’s corruption. They are using the name and power of the Vice President to benefit themselves.

It’s time for the Biden family to be held accountable for their actions. Joe Biden and his family must be held to the same standard as everyone else. Otherwise, the American people will never have faith in the political system.
