Time to have new leadership – Speaker McCarthy/RNC Chair McDaniel have proved it – too much baggage. The Democrats/Elite Repub’s (Romney) continue using their cheating/sharp knives against the Repub’s. Does Romney/McDaniel (Romney’s niece) works against the people who elected them?

Matt Gaetz On McCarthy: “He Does Not Actually Believe Anything…”

(NewsGlobal.com)- Republican Matt Gaetz doubled down on his opposition to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s bid for House Speaker in the incoming 118th Congress in January 2023, according to Mediaite. Gaetz wrote a critical op-ed for The Daily Caller where he combatted those who are suggesting if the GOP cannot rally behind McCarthy it will cause chaos.

Gaetz’s opposition followed the results of the midterm elections where the “red wave” that many Republicans projected never materialized. McCarthy, who needs only 218 votes to be nominated the House Speaker, is falling short five votes, including Reps. Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Bob Good, Matt Rosendale, and now Ralph Norman.

“Every single Republican in Congress knows that Kevin does not actually believe anything. He has no ideology,” the congressman wrote, adding that conservatives are using this fact to suggest that McCarthy is the right person for the job. But Gaetz argues that this is a weakness, saying that McCarthy is a liar who will promise anything to anyone if necessary.

After failing to deliver victories for the GOP, Gaetz called the leader an “opportunist” who should not be promoted in spite of his failures.

“In Republican politics, a promotion shouldn’t be failure’s chaser,” he said, saying that he will end up caving to liberals on key issues.

During an episode of his “War Room” podcast, Steve Bannon asked Gaetz what he thought of McCarthy’s “late conversation” to supporting investigations into the Biden administration and business dealings of Hunter Biden. Gaetz doubted the House leader’s intentions, suggesting that the moment he gets power, he will “revert to his establishment mean.”

The argument goes that if McCarthy was serious about issuing subpoenas like he now says he is, he would have supported the subpoenas that he, Rep. Jim Jordan, Ron DeSantis, and Mark Meadows were calling for in the House Judiciary Committee when Republicans held the majority.
