As anticipation for Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s FISA Abuse report built due to its release being delayed several times over the past year and a half, there was much argument between the DNC Media Complex and the New News Media. No side was able to agree on what the report would end up proving.

But before Horowitz was tasked with his investigation, there were already two very different narratives taking shape. These narratives were perfectly summed up, split along party lines, and memorialized in dueling memos.

On February 2, 2018, Devin Nunes released a report called “Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Abuses at the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” This is commonly referred to as “The Nunes Memo”.
