JOHN MAZOCH OBITUARY
John Leopold Mazoch, age 90, passed away on September 10, 2022 in Conroe, TX.

He was born on November 6, 1931, Danevang, Wharton, TX, to John B. and Barbara F. Mazoch. He married Melva J. Clark on November 27, 1957 (deceased) and married Mary E. Rush in Orange, TX on December 30, 1983 (deceased).

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

He served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer at the Bridge City, TX Plant; Coastal Welding Supply in Beaumont, TX; and a chemical plant in Port Neches, TX.

He is survived by a son Kendall and wife Vickie; grandson, Matthew and two great grandsons. A sister and brother-in-law, Joyce Mazoch Muckleroy and Robbie M. Muckleroy of Kerrville, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and immediate family – Leonard and Martha Mazoch, Steve and Nettie Zapalac, Ted and Lillian Mazoch, John and Hattie Parick, Bob and Bettie Morris, and Albert and Mollie Mazoch.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Weimar, TX followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 am. Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am, Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Weimar, TX and burial will follow at Weimar Masonic Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hubbard Funeral Home in Weimar, TX.
