Over and over we see these TV ads for people to identify themselves. They are all probably dead.

What took so long? Wonder who the commander(s) were during that period of time?

Occurred in 1953 and wasn’t identified until 1982? Where were the people in charge of the wells and their tests all during that time.

It all just doesn’t add up.

What is Camp Lejeune water contamination?


In August 1982, a Grainger chemist, Bruce Babson, sent a letter to the base commander, Marine Major General D. J. Fulham, warning him that the base wells appeared to be poisoned. The water from the contaminated wells, however, continued in use at the base.


Where did the toxic chemicals polluting Camp Lejeune come from?


The dry-cleaning firm ABC One-Hour Cleaners was responsible for contaminating the drinking water at Camp Lejeune with perchloroethylene by improperly disposing of the solvent.
