Secret Service Was Never Contacted By January 6th Committee To Verify Anything
(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- According to James Rosen, Newsmax’s chief White House correspondent, the House select committee that is in charge of overseeing the hearings for the unrest on January 6, 2021, at the Capitol has not yet contacted the United States Secret Service (USSS) about challenging Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony from Tuesday. This is despite USSS officials publicly volunteering to speak with the committee to refute Hutchinson’s claims against former President Donald Trump.
The Secret Service agents who were present with then-President Trump on January 6, 2021, in the presidential motorcade vehicle known as “The Beast” are “ready and “eager” to speak with the House panel, according to a report that was sourced from Rosen.
On the other hand, as of Wednesday afternoon, no member of the House panel that met on January 6 had been in touch with the Secret Service to schedule more testimony.
On Tuesday, Hutchinson, a former staffer to Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, entered the stand and provided sworn evidence detailing his part on January 6 that was regarded as “potentially catastrophic” to the case against former President Trump.
Hutchinson said that former President Trump was so “irate” with the Secret Service as he was traveling in the motorcade in the “The Beast” that he “lunged” toward the detail. This was said to have occurred during one portion of the conversation.
Hutchinson had also allegedly heard from another worker, Tony Ornato, that Trump attempted to grab control of the motorcade, even though there was a bulletproof partition separating the driver from the president’s party and the president’s party from the driver.
Ornato stated on Wednesday that he refuted every one of Hutchinson’s allegations.
According to Politico, the lack of outreach that the January 6 committee displayed in the days leading up to Hutchinson’s hearing is notable. This is due to the fact that the Secret Service has stated that investigators from the January 6 committee “can access any documents or witnesses” that they deem relevant.
The committee is not seeking the truth. They are concocting a hit job on a man they do not like.
It’s not business. It’s personal.
