George Soros Could Be Exposed By New Sunshine Law
(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Missouri’s state Supreme Court ordered Democrat Kimberly Gardner, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney, to comply with a record request to release facts regarding her unsuccessful prosecution of former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens on Friday.
Gardner, a county prosecutor funded by anti-American billionaire George Soros, accused Greitens of capturing a compromising photo of a woman he had an affair with in 2018. She subsequently withdrew the charges after admitting that she couldn’t present the supposed photo on which her case was based.
When local officers refused to assist Gardner, she hired a former FBI agent to investigate the governor’s criminal privacy violation charge. Her investigator, William Tisaby, an ex-FBI agent, pled guilty to one count of misdemeanor evidence tampering in the case.
If not for his guilty plea, the corrupt ex-FBI agent would have faced six perjury charges and one count of evidence tampering in an indictment accusing him of concealing evidence and lying during the investigation against Greitens, who is presently campaigning for the United States Senate.
Unlike what would happen to anybody else, Tisaby was sentenced to probation fast — and then his term was suspended, and he was released.
Greitens, who said from the start that he took no compromising images of anybody, was politically damaged to the point that he resigned as governor.
Following the event, John Solomon of Just the News filed a public records request under Missouri’s Sunshine Law in July 2019 for many years of contacts between Gardner and the Missouri Workforce Housing Association, state Reps. Stacy Newman and Jay Barnes, among others.
Gardner declined to cooperate after first dismissing the request, arguing that the records requested were not subject to the Sunshine Law.
Solomon successfully appealed Gardner’s denial. On the other hand, Gardner brought her case to the Texas Supreme Court. Gardner’s final appeal has been denied, and she has been forced to hand up the records by the state’s highest court.
According to the court, Gardner would also be responsible for Solomon’s legal and court expenses.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation’s chief counsel, Kimberly Hermann, said it was a terrific day for public disclosure. For over three years, her team worked alongside John Solomon to secure public records revealing Kimberly Gardner’s conversations with leftist megadonor George Soros.
Gardner had exhausted her legal options, and their legal victory was complete.
“We look forward to receiving all of the records and releasing them to the public,” Hermann said.
Gardner eventually acknowledged misconduct in the Greitens probe. Gardner made the admission at a disciplinary hearing on April 11, in which he reached an agreement with the Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which governs attorney license in the state.
The Missouri Supreme Court will make the ultimate judgment on punishment later this year.
