Due to the lack of truth from the left/Elite Republicans (Pence) we have to let the truth play out. It has been proven that the election was stolen.
With all of the proof now – Pence should be asked why he doesn’t believe when there is proof. It looks like he is in the Elite Republican RINO camp.
‘I Was Right and Everyone Knows It,’ Trump Responds to Pence Statement
Former President Donald Trump is blasting Mike Pence after he said that “Trump was wrong,” and that the former vice president had “no right” to overturn the 2020 election.
Former President Donald Trump released a statement Friday blasting his former vice president, Mike Pence. The statement came after Pence reiterated during a speech that he did not have any authority to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. This was not the first time that Pence had said he was unable to change the outcome of the election. However, his speech Friday marked the strongest rebuke yet of his former boss, who continues to push the disproven claim that he lost in 2020 as a result of massive, nationwide voter fraud.
“This week, our former president said I had the right to ‘overturn the election,'” Pence said while speaking to the Federalist Society in Florida. “President Trump is wrong. I had no right to overturn the election. The presidency belongs to the American people, and the American people alone. Frankly, there is almost no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president.”

In a statement following Pence’s speech, former President Trump stated that “the Vice President’s position is not an automatic conveyor belt if obvious signs of voter fraud or irregularities exist.”
“That’s why the Democrats and RINOS [Republicans in name only] are working feverishly together to change the very law that Mike Pence and his unwitting advisors used on January 6 to say they had no choice,” Trump continued.
“The reason they want [the law] changed is because they now say they don’t want the Vice President to have the right to ensure an honest vote. In other words, I was right and everyone knows it,” Trump said. “If there is fraud or large scale irregularities, it would have been appropriate to send these votes back to the legislatures to figure it out.”
Despite Trump’s continuing assertions, no evidence of widespread voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election has been uncovered. This includes officials in all 50 states, as well as Trump’s own attorney general, Bill Barr, who also stated that no such fraud was found.
Additionally, Chris Krebs, then-director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, called the 2020 election “the most secure in American history.”
While Trump has also continued to claim that Pence would have been able to overturn the results of the election, both Democratic and Republican constitutional scholars have said that the vice president had no power to do so. On January 6, 2021, Pence himself wrote in a statement that the U.S. Constitution “constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not.”
Trump’s assertion that Democrats are attempting to change the election law was in reference to an ongoing push to rewrite the Electoral Count Act of 1887. This century-old law is designed to regulate how electoral votes are counted following a presidential election.
However, this law would not have provided a path for the vice president to overturn the results of the election, as Trump claims. Rather, The New York Times reported, “the former president and his allies misinterpreted that century-old law in their failed bid to persuade Mr. Pence to throw out legitimate election results.”
As a result of this “misinterpretation” of the law, it has been reported that a number of people from both sides of the aisle are working to change it in an effort to avoid a similar issue in the future.
“Some scorekeeping matters little if the game is rigged,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told reporters in early January.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who has also broken ranks with Trump recently, stated in an interview with Politico that the law “obviously has some flaws.”
Newsweek has reached out to the teams of Trump and Pence for comment.
It seems these folks make a law so they can break it. The truth is you can always find something wrong with words and how they are phrased if you are crooked. That is what lawyers are good at and most of our politicians are lawyers.
What they could do is make the CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS more bullet proof and if they aren’t followed include some punishment for those who don’t follow them by the Supreme Court which isn’t happening. No one is identified to be able to put some teeth into identifying those who don’t follow them like he Democrat politicians.
