The Teachers Union head. Weingarten, needs to be fired after picking sides and politicking for McAuliffe. She is nothing but a shell for the Democrat Marxists and the country needs to replace her because she does not represent all children. It has been proven she has been shuttling teachers’ union dues to the Democrat Marxists politicians for years.

Parent’s rights and public schools need to be clarified after Weingarten’s remarks. The parents furnish the tax money for these schools TO OPERATE and volunteer/ work (Parent/Teachers Association – PTA) with the schools and their children.

It is now time for ALL schools to publish their curriculum before school begins each year in the local newspaper to keep the parents informed so that what is now happening with Critical Race Theory (CRT) doesn’t happen again.

We also need IQ tests to help children achieve their goals. In other words, if they are weak in certain areas – give them more (summer) help.

Article after article have appeared in various magazines about CRT and the problems local school boards who are teaching this Marxism in schools across the U.S. without the parents consent and when confronted – the school denies they are teaching Marxism CRT.

Weingarten retweeted the article with the note, “Great piece on parents’ rights and #publicschools.”

The tweet received hundreds of replies with several users calling out Weingarten’s attack on parents’ rights.

Cato Institute scholar Corey A. DeAngelis tweeted, “the president of the teachers union just endorsed this article. [W]ake up, parents.”

DeAngelis, who works as the research director at the American Federation of Children, also replied to the original tweet calling to “defund teachers’ unions” and “fund students, not systems.”

Other Twitter users similarly called out Weingarten’s apparent tone-deaf argument.

The issue over parents’ rights to their children’s education has become a hot-button topic in the Virginia gubernatorial race. Democratic candidate and former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe also faced backlash for claiming that he didn’t believe parents should tell schools what to teach kids.

“I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” McAuliffe said last month.

Sen. Tom Cotton questions why American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten, who campaigned with Democratic Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe on Monday, “doesn’t have any children.”

“What does she know about raising and teaching kids?” Cotton wondered.

Parents should be checking their schools’ curriculum. In 1987, I asked our local Superintendent of Schools – why are they socially promoting children within the school system who have not passed their subjects? His answer was – I only have a few years before I retire and if I say anything – I would be FIRED. SO, that is why we are in the situation we are presently in and that needs to stop. You are only hurting those children by not having the proper foundation.
