I will take a business man running our country any day – then a politician – because our country is a business. Politicians always look at the taxpayer’s money as theirs to take.
With the 2020 election just two weeks away, I decided to put down some thoughts on the motivations I had for voting as I did this year.
In 2016 I was a hard-core Never-Hillary and Never-Trump voter. As a staunch Constitutional Conservative there was no way on God’s green earth that I would ever have voted for Hillary Clinton, but I also could not bring myself to hold my nose and vote for Donald Trump. In my mind, there was no “lesser of two evils.”
Why not hold my nose and vote for Donald Trump? Simple answer – I didn’t like him as a person. Over the last three years, I’ve had people try to explain away the rougher side of President Trump as a “New York” thing. That’s a truly lame excuse.
