Conservatives, Stop Defending Bernie Sanders!
Posted by Ryan James | Jan 29, 2020 | Politics
As the Democratic presidential candidates approach the 2020 election, they’ve started to turn on one another even as they prepare to face off against Trump.
The candidate hardest hit by this infighting (except for maybe Tulsi “I’m-Not-A-Russian-Asset” Gabbard) is radical socialist Bernie Sanders.
Some members of the conservative press have, oddly enough, sought to defend Bernie Sanders from disparaging comments by the mainstream media and the Democrat establishment.
Conservatives and independents seem to feel sympathy for him when Senator Elizabeth Warren took a shot at him, claiming that Sanders had told her in private in 2018 that a woman could never be elected president. Admittedly, it did seem like a cheap shot by Warren given the fact that Bernie was on camera saying that he believed that a woman could be elected president.
Some in the conservative media feel sympathy for Sanders because he has been under attack from the party establishment and media since 2016. They see parallels with how President Trump was treated by the Republican establishment in 2015 and 2016.
I say good riddance to Bernie. Let them attack him, he is the most dangerous candidate currently running for president (a subject that FreedomWire discussed in depth on one of our recent podcasts, which you can watch HERE). If you put a gun to my head and made me vote for a Democrat, I would choose any of the other Dem candidates to prevent a communist supporter from becoming president.
In my opinion, we should let the Dems devour him so he is never within shouting distance of the White House again.
No conservative should have sympathy for a man who campaigned for communist candidates in the 70s and 80s and a candidate who supports an economic system—socialism—that has led to 100 million deaths in the Twentieth Century.
Comrade Bernie would change the political dynamic in America forever. He might not be able to push through his socialist agenda while president, but socialism would suddenly be mainstream and no longer a dirty word in American politics. Americans used to be united against socialism during the Cold War. The Cold War is no longer seen as a pressing topic of discussion and our schools are no longer teaching students about the atrocities caused by socialism.
Writing for Bloomberg, Remesh Ponnuru made the same prediction when he wrote, “The limits of what’s politically possible will shift Left as the political world adjusts to the new reality. Politicians, strategists, journalists, activists, and voters who thought that certain ideas were too far Left to make it in America would revise their sense of the country, and of what counts as extreme or as realistic within it. The ground on which future races for president, governor, and Congress are contested would move Left. That doesn’t mean the U.S. would be Venezuela, or even Denmark, by the start of 2022. But it is reasonable to expect that government policy 10 or 20 years from now would be considerably more socialistic than it would be if Trump were re-elected — or if Biden were elected.”
There is documentary proof that shows that Bernie is a Communist supporter. Documents from his personal files as Mayor of Burlington, Vermont from 1981-1989 show that he supported communist revolutionaries.
Joseph Simonson published an investigative report in the Washington Examiner that confirmed that Bernie Sanders campaigned for the Socialist Workers Party in the 1980 and 1984 presidential campaigns and was investigated by the FBI for ties to the Marxist party.
What does the Socialist Workers Party stand for?
To put it simply, a lot of bad stuff.
The party was founded in 1938 by devotees of Leon Trotsky. Trotsky led the Red Bolshevik Army into battle during the Russian Revolution that led to the founding of the Soviet Union and the rise to power of Vladimir Lenin. Joseph Stalin would follow Lenin as leader of the Soviet Union.
The Socialist Workers Party members promoted an ideology of international revolution and attended communist conferences around the globe.
Joseph Simonson reported that “At its founding, the SWP said its purpose was ‘the abolition of capitalism through the establishment of a workers and farmers republic’ and the elimination of most private property in strict accordance with the ideology of Vladimir Lenin, Karl Marx, and Trotsky.”
The report continued: “In 1979, members of SWP’s leadership circulated a document that called for the destruction of the bourgeois state apparatus, arguing such an act is a necessary prerequisite for the conquest of state power by the working class.”
That is the party that Bernie Sanders campaigned for. Don’t let him fool you about how radical he truly is.
Our dear Comrade Bernie spoke at multiple events endorsing candidates from the SWP.
Simonson wrote that “In 1980, Sanders proudly endorsed and supported Andrew Pulley, the party’s presidential candidate, who once said that American soldiers should take up their guns and shoot their officers. Sanders was one of their electors for Pulley on the Vermont ballot, stating in a press release: ‘I fully support the SWP’s continued defense of the Cuban revolution.”
That shouldn’t be surprising, given Senator Sanders’ love of the socialist Venezuelan government. Sanders once remarked that you were more likely to achieve the “American dream” in Venezuela than in the United States.
It turns out that the country is not a worker’s paradise after all.
In 1984, Sanders supported and actively campaigned for the SWP presidential nominee Mel Mason. This gem of a man was a Black Panther who praised the Russian and Cuban revolutions. He said that “the greatest example of a socialist government is Cuba, and Nicaragua is right behind, but it’s still developing.”
Sanders was investigated by the FBI for his ties to far-left revolutionaries. That is chilling given the fact that he almost became the Democratic Party nominee for president in 2016.
But remember folks, he is a “democratic socialist.” Don’t believe the far right lies.
Bernie Sanders is a Marxist. To my fellow conservatives, I say don’t ever support or sympathize with him. Let the Democrats destroy him.
They would be doing the country a favor.

Remember, these Marxists are here to SAY:
“The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. ” In other word – whether inner city blacks or women – is never the real cause, but only an occasion to advance the real cause which is the accumulation of POWER TO MAKE THE REVOLUTION (COUP).
THAT IS THE ALL CONSUMING FOCUS OF OBAMA/HILLARY/PELOSI/SCHUMER/ALL DEMOCRATS and their radicals.
