The Democratic Party always advocates “sacrifice” to the American people. They see this as cleansing, purifying experience and good for the soul for thee not me. Also, they see it as saving money. If this does, it would certainly be a new and highly unwelcome experience for our government.
A good example is when the Bill Clinton left office, the following administration found baskets of money stored in closets which had not been turned in – just waiting to be spent or turned in. Just think, real money – like millions jut lying around, unspent and no urgent need for it.
What kind of accounting system is in place when we go from one administration to the next for accounting of their budget. When Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, she left with $6 million misplaced cash (was she bonded?). How is this rectified? Didn’t hear any noise about it – even up to now? Do we need to tie a string around her toe to remind her and others – until this is rectified – as the owner – you must be held accountable to the Treasury.
In the future, my recommendation due to the super large amount of corruption in our government – we should have all politicians “bonded” so that when they fly the coup with our money we can be repaid by the bonding companies – just like we do at the local jail when someone is bonded. Another example, workers are bonded -like housekeepers if they work for a large company – so that if they steal from a home the company will repay you. I am sure there are a lot of companies that bond their employees.
The government must find a way to keep it whole since we are losing money every day by corrupt politicians.
Love to have the Treasury give a report of how much money is never accounted for from each department. Bet, that would set our hair on fire.

A government is no different than a large company.
If companies can account for all their moneys how can a government fail that?

They fail because they are corrupt.
