AOC is just one of the many uneducated dummkopfs in Congress who don’t realize that health insurance is just one of the benefits that we worked for 30 or 40 years to have.  It is a benefit where we pay a small percentage with the company – like AOC’s healthcare with the government which is a luxury and is different than what Medicare offers to the citizens.  If we lose our private health insurance than the government is depriving us of money that is a benefit from this company and we will have to pay money out of our own pocket for the government insurance which would be a loss.

AOC: Americans Won’t Be “Heartbroken” To Lose Private Insurance

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just can’t stop talking.

It seems like every time she opens her mouth she says something mind-numbingly stupid. Her list of greatest hits is too long to write out here, but if you’re reading, this you likely can recite many of them yourself.

She has become the self-appointed captain of the “Squad,” a lineup of freshman congresswomen including AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley. (As an aside, when did Ayanna Pressley make the Squad? She just kind of appeared out of nowhere).

The Squad has recently been embroiled in a Twitter war with President Trump.
Unless you have been living under a rock, you have likely heard about President Trump telling the four to go back to where they came from. The Tweet has sent a shock wave through the political world, and the four have feigned indignation over his comments. The media has been quick to take their side and call the president a racist.

AOC can’t stand to be out of the spotlight for too long, so she set about to keep herself in the news cycle. Never in the course of human events has someone with so little power and influence gotten so much attention.

On Wednesday, AOC dropped another doozy of a statement.

No More Private Health Insurance

Some on the Left—including presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris—have vowed to take away the private insurance of over 150 million Americans.

Add Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to that list.

AOC was asked about Joe Biden’s warning on “Medicare for All.” She responded by saying, “nobody is heartbroken at the idea of losing private insurance. People like their healthcare, they like their doctor. But I’d be interested in what the public polling on Aetna would look like.” (Aetna is one of the largest health insurance companies in the country).

Technically she’s right: People wouldn’t be heartbroken, they would be pissed!

How conceited of her to speak for 150 million people. Who does she think she is?

Americans work hard to earn the benefit of health insurance, and AOC and her socialist pals want to take away their benefits.

Good luck with that.
Unseen Consequences
If Democrats want to lose every election in perpetuity, then, by all means, tell, Americans that they plan on taking away the right to choose their own health insurance.
According to the Center for Disease Control, 68.9% of adults aged 18-64 have private insurance. 65.1% over the age of 65 have private insurance, and 54.7% of those under 18 are covered.
The cost of a so-called “Medicare For All” would be upwards of $40 trillion over 10 years.
This program would bankrupt the United States Treasury, but AOC probably thinks there is a money tree somewhere in Washington D.C. that grows hundred-dollar bills.
You would have to believe in some sort of supernatural phenomena to think that the country could ever afford such a program. The laws of Economics are fixed and don’t change, no matter how much you might want them to.
Our nation is already in debt up to our eyeballs. As of this writing, the country is $22 trillion in debt, and that doesn’t include the $100 plus trillion in unfunded liabilities the country will owe in the future.
If AOC wants to come after the private health insurance of millions of Americans, she better be ready to be met with a resounding “hell no.” Americans won’t allow this to happen.
She can dream all she wants, but the only heartbroken one would be her once she and her fellow Democrats realize that they’d never win another election again.
