This puzzle is said to be over 1,000 years old.

A farmer has just visited a local market and bought a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage.

The shortest way home involves a river crossing, and the farmer has a very small boat, which can only carry the farmer and one of the purchases.

Here are the conditions:
1.Only the farmer can row the boat.
2.The farmer can’t leave the wolf alone with the goat because the wolf would eat the goat!
3.Nor can the farmer leave the goat alone with the cabbage because the goat would eat the cabbage.

Can you help the farmer get everything to the other side of the river?
