Today, March 2, 2019, the song I am dedicating to you is:
My Hit Parade: Lynn Anderson – I Beg Your Pardon, I Never Promised You A Rose Garden
Do you ever take a look at yourself in the mirror and ask:
Am I satisfied with the road I have covered, were there bumps in the road in which I had to make a u-turn and smooth over and then move on or did I stumble and fall, pick myself up, brush myself off, learn from that experience, and move on in life. If so, good for you.
For those of you who got stuck and did nothing but spin your wheels, couldn’t make the right decision, and kept making the same mistakes – I am sorry. Never let someone else make your decision – because you are the one who will have to live with it.
Don’t be afraid to make a decision – ask others if they have experienced your problem or go on the internet and read about experiences others have had and what their solutions were.
Just work to keep from making the same mistake over and over and not learning from your mistakes.

Growing up, my family liked to crank the stereo up in our house on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and usually blaring from the two speakers in our living room, was country music or polka/waltzes. Not the country music of today, but the ‘real country’ when country wasn’t cool. This song, “I Never Promised You a Rose Garden” was one I remember hearing as a child, and I thought of it recently, when I was thinking of what God promises us as Christians. Does God promise us a rose garden, where everything in life will be perfect, and go smoothly at all times? Sometimes YES and sometimes NO.
Why, because God leaves it up to us to make our decisions? The decisions we make -make our road map through life. It is “ALL UP TO YOU.”
But – always remember God loves you and even with mistakes – he still loves you.
