It does not surprise me at all – that Ramos is being detained. He “hot-dogged” it in America by pushing for Socialism and now he is in the real land of Socialism and dictatorship and he is being detained?
My goodness, Mr. Ramos, what is the problem? It would seem the Maduro socialists would be hailing Ramos as their hero and he would fit in with them? What/where is the beef? Maduro was serving “garbage.” Gee, Mr. Ramos that is not the way you say that socialism works? Is everyone sharing the “garbage?”
All of you socialists, especially the Dem’s 2020 candidates, this is a good example of what a socialist country looks like. The leader always turns into a dictator like Obama/Democrats did in the U.S. – by stealing enough for themselves, and turning everything else into garbage (doubled the debt by trickery).
2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Monday night refused to call Venezuela’s disputed President Nicolás Maduro a “dictator,” saying “there are still democratic operations taking place” in the war-torn country.
Sanders’ comments in a CNN town hall came as Univision reported that anchor Jorge Ramos and his television crew were detained in Caracas following an interview with Maduro while showing people eating “garbage.” (Opps – Google at work – gargage instead of garbage.)
That’s the beef. Maduro wouldn’t let in the U.S. aid to feed the citizens – but that is okay with Bernie Sanders as long as he gets fed.
The Univision network says six of its staffers, including veteran anchorman Jorge Ramos, are being detained at the presidential palace in Caracas, Venezuela. The network said Ramos was there to interview embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. “Attention: A @Univision team, headed by @jorgeramosnews, is being arbitrarily detained at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas,” the network…
I think Venezuela is the perfect location for Jorge.
