KOMMONSENTSJANE – SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA EXPERIENCES MASS EXODUS OF RESIDENTS.

Reblogged on kommonsentsjane/blogkommonsents.

Sad, but true. The Democrats love living in squalor because that is the way they are raised – they hate Jesus and the ten commandments. They just can’t meet the requirements.

San Francisco Bay Area Experiences Mass Exodus Of Residents

By Len RamirezFebruary 8, 2018 at 5:32 pm

Robert Massimi. Robert M Massimi.

This city has always reminded me of the East Village in New York City. San Francisco has always been a bohemian, last chance at life before you commit suicide. Ultra liberal, dirty and very detached, cold people.

I remember in 2000 coming to San Fran for a conference on Silicon companies. I was smoking a cigarette on the street when some person came up to me and told me smoking was not allowed on the city streets, after a good chuckle I asked him if he was serious and he assured me he was. As a good New Yorker, I asked him if he minded if I put it out on his face. After he ran for his life, I later discovered that Veal was not allowed to be served in the San Francisco Bay Area. The reasoning was that they did not like the way the animals were treated before they were killed. So then I thought, but it’s okay the way the club the seals in the harbor, but they have compassion for the other animals.

The reason people are leaving in droves is simple, liberalism, socialism does not work! The government their wants to tell the people how to live, the people do not feel protected. Real Estate is through the roof in pricing, you have the ultimate in haves and have nots. This City makes no sense, if you stay in a top quality hotel, homeless are allowed to squat in the lobby.

When is San Francisco and California going to wake up and realize that you can’t give away free stuff, you can’t protect criminals, (illegal immigration is just that, illegal), and expect tax paying citizens to continue to pick up the burden of these people. It is like the people of Rockland County New York that are expected to pick up the tab of the Hasidim community, it does not work!

SAN JOSE (KPIX 5) – The number of people packing up and moving out of the Bay Area just hit its highest level in more than a decade.

Carole Dabak spent 40 years living in San Jose and now she’s part of the mass exodus that is showing no signs of slowing down.

The retired engineer’s packing up and calling it quits about to move to the state of Tennessee.

“I loved it here when I first got here. I really loved it here. But it’s just not the same,” Dabak said.

Of course people come and go from the Bay Area all the time, but for the first time in a long time, more people are leaving the Bay Area than are coming in. And the number one place in the country for out-migration is now, right here.

Russell Hancock with Joint Venture Silicon Valley said, “Silicon Valley has been this place that is growing. And it was mostly due to people relocating here and relocating from other parts of the world. That’s changing.”
Joint Venture Silicon Valley’s own study of the out-migration says workers are moving to Sacramento, Austin, and Portland due to a number of factors. But topping the list is the high cost of housing.

“You can’t even contemplate getting into the housing market here,” Hancock said. “And I don’t mean just service workers, but highly skilled professionals. The tech elite are having a hard time affording reasonable housing in Silicon Valley. That makes it difficult for employers to recruit.”
Operators of a San Jose U-Haul business say one of their biggest problems is getting its rental moving vans back because so many are on a one-way ticket out of town.

Dabak cites crowding, crime and politics as the reasons for her own exodus.
“We don’t like it here anymore. You know, we don’t like this sanctuary state status and just the politics,” she said.

She plans to sell her home for about $1 million, buy a much larger place near Nashville for less than half that and retire closer to family and friends.

Its a shame what has happened to this beautiful state. I was in the Bay Area for two years in 95 – 97. But the weather, beauty of the landscape just drew too many people. Now its an urban nightmare of every race and culture on the planet…un-assimilated and proud of it.

We’re in the SF outer burbs (about an hour to the east) and I can tell you not everyone here is nuts. The problem is really about the underlying economy here which is fifty miles wide and half an inch deep. Many people work either for the government (state, local, Feds) or for the many non profits. Their perspective is formed largely by the top bureaucracy that feeds this place.
As an example, Nancy Pelosi. Why is she still there? We don’t actually know her but certainly know of her. She isn’t who you think she is. She and her husband and her kids have always pitched themselves as wild child types but off camera run around in plaid shirts and Catholic school garb. She’s still the little girl who grew up going to good schools in Maryland and DC but has this shtick that voters fall for. Alexandra says her mother’s health is failing (obvious) and has wanted to retire for years but party leadership keeps talking her into successive terms because of her connections to the Pacific Heights moneybags who fund the DNC. What you’re seeing on television is an illusion, a way to keep the pot stirred up and dollars flowing.
There’s a hell of bust coming. My wife and I are ready for it. Those who aren’t? OUCH.

Lefties love to ruin a place and them move from it to ruin that place. People of Tennessee if you are smart you must pass laws now to ensure that those who come will not change your way of life. They will come slow at first and it will seem “good” and then before you know it, it’s too late. Pass laws now. Protect your gun rights, cap your taxes, property taxes especially!! They love government and they love being “active” which means using groups to go against a traditional, quiet society. This article mentions that these people are leaving for Austin and Portland, look what happened to these places?? Speak to real (multi-generational) Texans and Oregonians about what happened. Heed this warning and make the laws now while you can…

Left NJ for same reasons. They are going full sanctuary and expecting the productive, taxpaying residents to pay for the Illegals. This “story” has been rolling in one direction for years and is not a blip. California is experiencing a tectonic shift in it’s demographics and it is not a healthy one. Housing costs have been the main reason but is now joined by policies such as sanctuary status, As the new federal tax realities take center stage, cost of living in California will surge again and Sacramento is largely ignoring that problem as their spending and ideological addictions deepen. This is something new. It is interesting that the ex-pats are choosing Oregon and Washington, both of which are in the same parade as California, just further back.

The San Francisco Bay Area lost more than 600,000 net residents between 2000 and 2009. In 2016, 26,000 more people left the Bay Area than arrived. Figures for 2017 look to double that.

The “Mass Exodus” consists entirely of old, washed-up retirees cashing in on their real estate windfall. They use “dissatisfaction” as a cop-out. SF does not need them. I did it. I packed my bags and my income and left in August of last year and moved to Pittsburgh PA. There is a thriving technology industry here, not as big as the valley but certainly big enough.

What drove me away was the cost of living and the politics. The “tolerant left” is not so tolerant of anyone who disagrees with them on political issues. I couldn’t stand it anymore. And I’m not alone. I know several of my neighbors and former co-workers who are just waiting for their kids to graduate from high school or college who will leave as well.

You Californians, especially San Franciscans should be forced to live in the cultural squalor you’ve created. I am sick of seeing CA license plates. With them they bring the same moronic, destructive ideas that made where they’re from unliveable in the first place. America is not just a place. It is not a race. It is not a monetary unit. America is predicated upon the ideals coming out of the Reformation: that man is made in the image of God and therefore has innate dignity that their fellow citizen is duty-bound to recognize. It constrains the civil magistrate etc. It is a free-market economy because the fruits of a man’s labor belong to him. It is predicated upon the Judeo/Christian ethic. There’s a reason people swear an oath with their hands on a Bible. There’s a reason the Declaration of Independence makes its appeal to our Creator. Californians do NOT bring these ideals with them. They bring hedonism, socialism, oppression to those who don’t think like them them, the destruction of our borders, virulent anti-European racism, the tyranny of judges and death to the unborn. STAY OUT FROM COLORADO! You are like a plague or loathsome disease.

In parts of California, middle class housing (and affordable working class housing) are becoming extinct. Why is it that even well paid workers have a hard time affording housing? Wherever they go, hope they don’t bring their toxic liberalism with them.
Liberals have a habit of trashing communities with liberalism, and then moving-on to the next and starting the process anew.

Oh great. These liberals from San Francisco are moving to new states to ruin them as well. Sorry Tennessee. That old liberal goon is going to ruin your state.

A bit of advice to those moving out of SF….
If you move to a low tax, low crime Red state do us a favor and hush up for a while.
What we are seeing is alot of people moving into our state of Georgia from the North East and out West. The first thing they do is start demanding the same policies which ruined their state.
Also, and i know this is hard, but get to know the people. Dont make fun of accents and come with the usual elitist, smug attitude the Left has toward anyone not from a high class urban area.
I had been to SF many times in the early 2000’s and found it a vibrant place. Its sad to see it go.

“…buy a much larger place near Nashville for less than half that and retire closer to family and friends…”
And vote for Democrats so Tennessee can be as messed up as here.

Everyone thinks SF is insane. But the story missed 2 other sides, of this 3 sided coin. The very rich and the very poor are doing just fine. The rich don’t have to deal with all the problems. And the dirt poor gets enough crumbs to do their extended drug bender in nice weather. The middle class is fed up. The upper and lower have the world they want. And who needs the middle class when you can get illegals for 1/3 the cost? (illegals might be their own 4th group). See? SF is not insane. This is exactly what they want and the middle class leaving just makes room for more illegals.

My first and last trip to CA was for two days in Santa Barbara. Very nice, but couldnt wait to get back to FL within 24 hrs. I cant even imagine what SF would have been like. The libs can keep it. Only thing I suggest is cut their water for a short bit and see how quickly they might change their tunes. Probably wouldnt work anyway, but, hey!

We should all learn from the failure of California by electing liberals to the states’ office. Democrats are now muslim/communists and with it comes nothing but Sharia law under the sheets.
