It looks like Sarah needs to have a visit with a psychiatrist. Being afraid of the American flag was produced by her own mind rather than learned through experience – an innate knowledge of right and wrong.
Is the American flag Sarah’s innate object?
A good example is – “Chimpanzees show an innate distrust of contact with strangers.”
