Immigration was the topic of an editorial in a recent newspaper and I certainly have to agree with the notion that the DACA’s children who are not children any longer need to take responsibility for there own citizenship.
In Steven R Covey’s, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Habit No. 5 states, “SEEK FIRST TO UNDERSTAND, THEN TO BE UNDERSTOOD.”
So, my advice to the DACA supposedly children:
Since these children were brought here illegally, they should make their way to the Immigration and Naturalization Service and begin their own citizenship proceedings no matter their status. Which is a fair point. These residents, many of whom have been here for years, must take on the responsibility of starting the path toward citizenship. Their standing now is they are living in the shadows.
Congress should pass a law allowing those who do begin this process to be grandfathered and no fear deportation. As of now, only those who entered “by the book” may begin this proceeding. Many live in constant fear of deportation, even as they live and work among us. But, we must stop importing uneducated people and start importing people who can be beneficial to the country and support themselves or have a sponsor.
Congress must take on immigration reform. The system has been manipulated by the prior administration and unlawful. There are bad applies who should be deported. Those who seek to take from our country’s abundance without contributing to it are not welcomed.

Where does it end? Illegal aliens who have broken the law bringing or sending their children across the border are getting a free pass along with the whole family and relatives. Dems get the votes, illegal aliens get benefits and jobs, and we taxpayers get the shaft. The U.S., as our forefathers established, is crumbling under self-promoting politicians who are not protecting Americans. It’s quite clear that our country is being ripped apart by ignorant people who have absolutely no vision of the future and the longterm consequences of their actions.
