As the saying goes,  THE APPLY DIDN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE.  His father, Tim Kaine, is a communist and was Hillary’s running mate.

Glad to see follow-up on these people who think they can destroy property and not be responsible for their actions.

The son of Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential running mate has been charged in connection with violence that disrupted a pro-Trump rally In March.

Linwood Kaine, 24, of Minneapolis was charged along with several others. Kaine is the son of Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., who was the Democratic vice presidential nominee.

The March 4 pro-Trump rally took place in the state capitol’s Rotunda in downtown Minneapolis. The event drew about 400 Trump supports, about 150 anti-Trump protesters, and a small group that sought to disrupt the event.

“Some of the counter-demonstrators, equipped with face and head coverings and goggles, broke away and attempted to enter the rally from the second floor staircase by pushing and shoving,” said a news release from Ramsey County Attorney John Choi. “During the disturbance, they employed smoke bombs, mace and fireworks, thereby creating a chaotic and dangerous situation.”

The charges against Kaine include fleeing police on foot and concealing his identity in a public place, both misdemeanors, and obstructing legal process, a gross misdemeanor

Kaine was originally detained after the March rally, but later released until the investigation was complete.

Felony charges were lodged against two men who allegedly used tear gas against Trump supporters. All of the other charges filed were misdemeanors.

Police said that after the anti-Trump protesters left the site of the rally, they “tried to change their appearance by doing things like taking off their black clothing, putting on different jackets or hats, and turning their clothing inside out.”

A police document said Steve Frazer, a St. Paul police senior commander, chased Kaine and grabbed him.

Kaine “began to spin out of his clothing to get away,” the court document continued. Other officers arrived and Kaine “was swinging his arms and pushing at Frazer in an attempt to get away,” the complaint said. Police said they needed a “knee strike” and a chemical spray to arrest Kaine.

“In my mind, this has always been about making sure that people who seek to express themselves peacefully can do so free from fear of violence. That should be a bright line for everyone,” Clark said.

The Kaine family issued a statement about the charges against their son.

“Today’s announcement of misdemeanor charges against Sen. Kaine’s son contains no suggestion that he engaged in disruptive behavior while at the rally, but are instead focused on his actions as he was arrested after he left,” said Miryam Lipper, Tim Kaine’s spokeswoman. “Tim and Anne support their son and hope the matter is resolved soon.”
