France: The Ideology of Islamic Victimization

They are not the victims of any racist system — it does not exist — but they are the victims of an ideology of victimization, which claims that they are discriminated against because of race and religion.
Victimization is an excuse offered by the state, by most politicians (right and left) and by the mainstream media.
To avoid confrontation, all the politicians from the mainstream political parties and all mainstream media are going along with the myth of victimization. The problem is that this is only fueling more violence, more terrorism and more fantasies of victimization.
French sociological research seems to have no new books, articles or ideas about French Muslim radicalization. It is not hard to see why: the few scholars tempted to wander off the beaten path (“terrorists are victims of society, and suffering from racism” and so on) are afraid to be called unpleasant names. In addition, many sociologists share the same Marxist ideology that attributes violent behavior to discrimination and poverty. If some heretics try to explain that terrorists are not automatically victims (of society, of white French males, of whatever) a pack of hounds of Muslim and non-Muslim scholars start baying to lynch them as racists, Islamophobes and bigots.
After the November 2015, terrorist attacks in Paris, Alain Fuchs, president of France’s National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), launched a call for a new project to understand some of the “factors of radicalization” in France.
The project that emerged, “Youth and Radicalism: Religious and Political Factors”, by Olivier Galland and Anne Muxel, was thorough. Their survey is based mainly on a poll conducted by Opinion Way of 7,000 high school students, and was followed by a second “poll” of 1,800 young people (14 to 16 years old). The next phase will apparently include individual and group interviews with young secondary-school students.
Galland and Muxel do not say that their survey is “representative” of all French youth. Muslims high school students are over-represented in the polls, in order to understand what is at stake in this segment of the population.
Their proposal, however, is heretical: it means there is a problem with Muslims.
The preliminary results of this vast study were released at a press conference on March 20. To the question in the study: What are the main factors of radicalization? The answer was: religion.
“We can not deny the ‘religion effect’. Among young Muslims, the religion effect is three times more important than in non-Muslim groups. Four percent of youths of all denominations defend an absolutist vision of religion and apparently adhere to radical ideas; this figure is 12% among young Muslims in our sample. They defend an absolutist view of religion — believing both that there is ‘one true religion’ and that religion explains the creation of the world better than science.”
What about the usual explanations of lack of economic integration, fear of being on welfare, social exclusion and so on?
“A purely economic explanation appears not to be validated. The idea of a ‘sacrificed generation’, tempted by radicalism, is confronted with the feeling of a relatively good integration of these populations. [Young Muslims] appear neither more nor less confident in their future than all other French youths; they believe in their ability to pursue studies after the baccalaureat and to find a satisfactory job.”
These young Muslims recognize that they are not suffering from racism or discrimination. But at the same time, many of them say they “feel” discriminated against anyway. They are not the victims of any racist system — it does not exist — but they are the victims of an ideology of victimization, which claims that they are discriminated against because of race and religion.
“The feeling of being discriminated against is twice as strong in our sample especially among young people of Muslim faith or of foreign origin. To explain the adherence [of young Muslims] to radicalism, we must consider that religious factors are combining with identity issues, and mixing themselves with feelings of victimization and discrimination”.
If Islam is an engine of radicalization, the second powerful engine of radicalization is this dominant ideology of victimization.
“Young Muslims who feel discriminated against adhere more often to radical ideas than those who do not feel discriminated against.”
These preliminary results are more than worrying. Against all sociological evidence, social origin and academic level do not outweigh the effect of religious affiliation. In other words, regardless of a young Muslim’s performance at school and his parents’ profession, he is four times more likely than a young Christian to adhere to radical ideas.
“This strength of the effect of Islam is perhaps the most surprising teaching of this study,” points out Olivier Galland. “This is confirmed in school by school statistics. Whatever their sociology, Muslim youths have an identical propensity to become a radical.”
This study is not the first to bring to light the process of the radicalization of young Muslims in France. It is, however, the first to connect radicalization and the ideology of victimization. Victimization is an excuse offered by the state, by most politicians (right and left) and by the mainstream media. Moreover, not only does the policy of blaming victimization fail to be of any help, but the excuse of victimization is actually fueling terrorism. When, on February 17, 2017, French President François Hollande rushed to visit Théo, a 22-year-old youth who claimed that the police sodomized him with a baton during a confrontation with drug dealers — it appeared later that Theo was not so sure of his accusations against the police. The presidential visit was not helpful. The meeting between President Hollande and Theo sparked three weeks of riots in the suburbs of Paris.
When Emmanuel Macron, the new president of France, states that he is in favor of “positive discrimination” (a €15,000 grant of public money for any company that hires a youth from the suburbs), he is encouraging future jihadists to represent themselves as victims.

France has Europe’s largest Muslim community, largest Jewish community, largest Chinese community, and largest Armenian community. The French integration model worked for all those groups except one. A growing percentage of Muslims in France are not accepting the rules that everyone else has accepted. To avoid confrontation, all the politicians from the mainstream political parties and all mainstream media are going along with the myth of victimization. The problem is that this is only fueling more violence, more terrorism and more fantasies of victimization.

A people who embrace an ideology as loathsome as National Socialism, which manifest itself in intimidation, terror and mass murder — which these people impose on the civilized world — whose regimes are, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, marked by violence, oppression, bigotry, corruption, and incompetence — depict themselves as VICTIMS…! This is the most monstrous hypocrisy in the annals of human discourse — at least as monstrous as the hypocrisy of National Socialists depicting themselves as victims, even as they murdered millions.
That Western effetes buy into this hypocrisy is beyond grotesque: It is criminal. And yet, we keep electing them to govern us. What does this say about us?

How does a minority multiply its footprint within a society or group within the Western World? The answer is universal and that is to play the ‘victim’ card. Racism, Religion, Gender, Poverty, Victimhood or Discrimination, whatever trait that can be distilled, will be automatically magnify the attention focused upon a minority as a positive. At the moment, you can bet that ‘positive discrimination’ will be the answer, to justify unequal treatment within any Democracy by the Government and Socialist left.
Islam by it’s very nature, recognises this as an Achilles Heel of the West, enabling it to further it’s agenda. Just compare the GDP of any Western country to the amount spent on this one particular group of citizens compared per-capita with any other group in that same country.

Victimization is an Islamic Trojan horse!

Like any other mainstream policy-maker in Europe, Macron lacks the understanding and personality to undertake what is needed to save France and Europe from the carnage of Islam.

The victimization cult is mostly an invention of leftist politicians. It consists of breaking people up into as many subdivisions as possible, recognizing some evil (usually imaginary) that has been done to them, and offering them some sort of extra benefits and/or rights in recompense — gaining their political support in the process.
The leftists refuse to admit that any of their preferred groups of “victims”, including Muslims, could not be deserving of the mantle of victimhood that has been conferred on them — it would tend to undermine their whole system. Whoever or whatever is responsible for any problems, it can’t be them.

Their ‘victimization” was planned by the Brotherhood, and encouraged into their psyche, specifically after seeing the world show some compassion to the Jewish survivors of the Holocaust. I saw the intentional “victimization” by a high school student who decided to wear a hijab and immediately blamed her classmates for discrimination – which was absolutely not the case. It was a way for her to isolate herself from them and put them on the defensive, similar to calling out Islamophobia when it does not exist. The proof is the absolute acceptance of other children from other non-American cultures, who made friends easily and never experienced isolation or intimidation.

Muslims are hardly victims. Ask any Christian in Africa whose daughter has been raped or church has been burned by these people.
Time we close our borders to letting Muslims live in North America or Europe unless they agree to abandon Sharia Law and follow the civil laws of the land and are equal under the law of the land.

Yves Mamou has characterized Muslim racism in France (and indeed in Europe) and the response of French security agencies to it, accurately. Governments will of course pay a heavy price for their ……..ineptitude? What is clear to anyone with two brain cells, is that these new immigrants wish to replicate the disastrous social, political and religious culture of their former homelands – all at the expense of the taxpayers of their new countries – and the not so occasional cost of a few lives of ‘infidels’ on the way.
If it proves to be the case, and rising evidence points to this cause, that radical ideologues are disseminating political and religious toxic notions to the very young and vulnerable, then they must be stopped – and deported. Of the non Middle Eastern converts to this ideology, we see the power of its message.
In spite of their having been born and raised in Europe (or the US, Canada, Australia, etc.) the conviction and degree of virulent hatred for non Muslims, and the desire to wreak havoc and death upon them, is consistent. Yes, there is always the omnipresent claim that these adherents are mentally ill – but SO many, and sufficiently organized and clever to conceal their intentions and activities until completion? In today’s high security world, that’s no mean feat. Others might wish for such organizational abilities simply to be able live decent lives.

The problem of this Islamic victimization myth is that it does not address the effects of Islamic Sharia law. Political correctness is the easiest way out by politicians to avoid confrontation with Muslims. But this is very bad for the country if unchecked. Islamic Sharia laws are very incompatible to French Constitution or any country that believes on freedom.
Islam is different. It rejects multiculturalism and advances its own Islamic agenda of monoculturalism through Islamic Sharia.
Moreover, Sharia law is the body of Islamic law. The term means “way” or ” path”; it is the legal framework within which the public and some private aspects of life are regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islam.
This Sharia Law is misunderstood by many. Only 14% of it comes from the Quran while the remaining 86% comes from the example set by Muhammad as the Sunna [Perfect soul]. It sets up Muslims with religious and political guidelines for their journey on earth. We have better understood how dangerous this law is or we will find it seeping into our laws to show conformity, tolerance and political correctness which can ultimately destroy France and Europe and even USA if unchecked.
To elaborate my point. There is an Islamic law commanding all Muslims to murder all non Islamics (Jews, Christians, and other non-Muslims) which is an obligation of Jihad for every Muslim (Section o9.1-o9.8). This is not a maybe. This is a MUST KILL Law – “Jihad is a communal obligation upon Muslims each year.” “The caliph makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians until they become Muslim —-or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax.” I know it doesn’t sound so bad. Just pay the Islamic overseers a tax and you can continue to have a non- Islamic country — IT DOESN’T WORK LIKE THAT IN WESTERN COUNTRIES LIKE FRANCE, EUROPE, AND USA!
This “victimization myth” must be stopped now before Muslims will destroy France as a freedom loving country. Any Islamic Sharia laws must be rejected and Muslims implementing them should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the French or any European Constitutional laws.

It seems to me that if a person can convince himself that he is a victim of something or someone, that “victimhood” gives him a license to do whatever he wants to get rid of that something or someone. It is the wife abuser who shakes his fist at his beaten and bloodied wife and says, “Look what you made me do!”
I’m “Old School.” I wish every child could be raised on a farm where there are chores and responsibilities for everybody. Where the children learn the value and rewards of hard work. Where a loving and nurturing father and mother teach the children the difference between right and wrong, NOT what’s legal or illegal.
SNAP! Yeah – those days are gone. We’re all victims of something, so lets go out and yell, break, and plunder from all those people who took it from us.
Oh – and when the Muslims “victims” come to cut off our heads, let’s tell them that their cause is “just” also – just as “just” as ours.

Woody Allen may as well have been elected president of France. He also is the antithesis of the mystique of French masculinity, or of any other nation’s culture of masculinity. Victor Hugo and Edmund Rostand would not have a chance in France. Macaroni and his aging spouse (Macaroni has a Mommy fixation and dependency) had said there was no such thing as French culture. This is true. Postmodernism killed it. Muslims will finish the job, and bury it with spades provided by French politicians.
Dean • May 18, 2017 at 09:07
The permission we give Muslims to be considered “victims” is what allows them to victimize others. Our stupidity is not the actual cause of terrorism – that is due to their own Islamic teachings – but it allows and permits them to get away with murder and encourages them to ever great acts of carnage in the name of Islam.
The retarded understanding by leaders such as Macron and many other Western leaders has Islamists demanding sharia law, it has them calling all of us “Islampohobes” and it has them getting their leftist friends in government writing motions and legislation to prevent the murderers from being called out for their crimes – it guarantees that our children today and tomorrow will be raped, indoctrinated, recruited and prevented from following their own civilization which just happens to be the best mankind has to offer – in exchange for the worst mankind has to offer.

This is very true. The ideology of victimization is often disastrous. It can be empowering though also. For example Chinese civilization has more or less this kind of thinking. Some reasons for this are true and some not so much. But anyway they have turned this as a positive force to show the world we can do better even if history. Well, Muslim world…there’s hardly a mirage of positiveness here. “We are victims, I am too. Hence I have a right to whatever I want. We have been treated so badly, we should rule the world. This is not fair you infidels”. If they don’t wake up Muslim world will never change. They can even become dominant in the world, but terrible mess will still be there.

Great article, thank-you.
So the crux of the matter is that we have a large group of people who are identifiable by their religious choices who are exceptionally self entitled and who, with the aid and encouragement of the Left wing establishment, have set themselves up as poor little victims.
That leaves such a sour taste to the mouth. How pathetic.
James Charnley • May 18, 2017 at 07:18
The indoctrination of children so that they are imprinted with Islamic doctrine means that they will grow up with a closed mind as regards any competing ideas including the scientific method and of course, other religions. There is a strong psychological factor at the root of all later in later behaviour “Once a catholic always a catholic” applies here but even more so. Children should be educated not indoctrinated.

Same thing happens here in the USA with our minorities: Racism charges and discrimination charges are used by media, politicians and everyone else eager to destroy the original, founding population. And it is effective, which leads to violence and hatred on both sides of the spectrum. Here in the USA we are headed for major violence I am afraid. Trump is being destroyed by these same corrupt forces and if he is successfully pushed out of office on some phony charge, violence will likely erupt. Same in France, the French will revolt once they are pushed over the edge! And if they don’t, well then, they are bigger sissies than I ever thought they could be.

Indeed Islam is a problem in France, Europe and in every other part of the world which is sure to end up in a ww3. However communism is a religion too for sociologists and they too want war. As to Macron he like all other French présidents and in particular Hollande is so afraid of war he rejects all forms of resistance just like all other European governments. He will be worse than Hollande if this is possible and eventually even ww3 will be welcome to end the suffering of populations.

“Islamism like Nazism and Fascism is a totalitarian dogma. It has totally thought controlled and destroyed the Arabs and through them the people of the Middle East, North Africa and beyond. Unless the Muslim immigrants (fifth columnists) denounce and renounce the scourge of Islamism (like the German renounced Nazism) they have no place in modern civilisation.” WSC

What nonsense! Why is there no one bothering to discover the cause of discrimination against Christians in Islamic countries? Is it that Muslims are placed, ahead of all other faiths. The discrimination and feelings of “race” hatred directed towards Muslims is their fault and nobody else can be blamed for their failure to integrate and accept Western ways. Perhaps if they didn’t consider themselves and their faith to be far more superior, than all others, they just might be looked upon in a different light. As it is, they continue to try to force their beliefs and culture upon others, and some of us don’t like being pushed to do something we don’t want.
