This morning protestors from the group People’s Action descended on Heritage’s DC office to condemn Heritage’s role in inspiring President Trump’s new budget.
The protestors filled the first floor lobby and put the building in lock down.

Outside, many other protestors filled the street in front of Heritage holding signs condemning President Trump’s budget.

This isn’t the first time Heritage has come under attack from the left and it won’t be the last.  We are proud to stand behind Heritage’s Blueprint for Balance budget proposal that would balance the federal budget in seven years and save millions of taxpayer dollars.

It’s time for Washington to stop their reckless spending of your taxpayer funds.
And it’s time for Congress to do their job and pass a conservative budget.
Support the advancement of Heritage’s budget proposal.  Protests like the one this morning demonstrate how organized the left is in pushing their narrative–we must keep pushing back!
We will not be intimidated by these protests.
