Bill O’Reilly will release a new episode of his “No Spin News” podcast on Monday, the first time he will be speaking publicly since he was ousted Wednesday from Fox News amid sexual harassment allegations.
O’Reilly’s website was updated Saturday night to include the announcement, The Hill reports.
He had hosted “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox for two decades – and the program’s last segment ran on Friday, hosted by Greg Gutfield.
“Tucker Carlson Tonight” picked up O’Reilly’s time slot in a revamping of the Fox prime-time schedule announced last week.
The new schedule begins Monday.
O’Reilly, 67, was forced out Wednesday after The New York Times reported earlier this month five women had received $13 million in payouts in exchange for not pursuing litigation or discussing any allegations regarding sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior.
He denied the allegations — saying he settled the cases to spare his family — and his attorney, Marc Kasowitz, had said that O’Reilly was the target of a “smear campaign” financed by left-wing advocacy groups.
O’Reilly’s departure followed last year’s resignation of Roger Ailes, the CEO who founded Fox News Channel in 1996.
Ailes left in July 2016 in the wake of an internal investigation into sexual harassment allegations filed by former anchor Gretchen Carlson.
He remains a Fox consultant through 2018.
O’Reilly’s “No Spin News” podcast will be available only to those who pay $4.95 per month to access premium content on his website, The Hill reports.
This should send a loud and clear message; The liberals will ruthlessly make up stories to silence the truth.
The public does not know if this happened at Fox; but, during my time in the working world, this kind of action happens. My Mother raised me to know a woman would always encounter this in the public – regardless of where you worked. As she stated: It is a man’s right to ask and a woman’s right to refuse. Maybe all of these women at Fox weren’t given that warning. But, I do know that some women use this band wagon to get ahead and when one makes the call – the rest pile on.
I hope this wasn’t the case.
