As an American citizen, I appreciate anyone who actually puts their life on hold to be a member of the government – especially if you have already dedicated your life to a company and then retired. The problem is – that it is becoming more and more difficult to find honest people who want to work for such a corrupt government as what President Trump was left with. Just think what these people have been put through for the past days since inauguration.
Just look at the people now who have all become corrupt because of the last eight years with a corrupt president and what they did to our country. We have got to institute term limits.
I can mesmerize with Secretary State Tillerson; but, it is such a good feeling to know that we have the cabinet that the President has selected who wants to tackle this job of trying to remake a Constitutional government which was abducted by the left leaning wing of America – which has fostered into the Muslim/Communist Party.
We will never be able to thank him and his wife enough for doing this for the American people and our country.
Rex Tillerson said the job of secretary of State wasn’t a role he sought out.
“I didn’t want this job. I didn’t seek this job,” Tillerson told the Independent Journal Review in an interview.
When asked why he agreed to take on the position of secretary of State, Tillerson said his wife “told me I’m supposed to do this.”
During the interview, Tillerson said he had never met President Trump before the election. After his victory, the president wanted to talk with Tillerson “about the world.”
“When he asked me at the end of that conversation to be secretary of state, I was stunned,” Tillerson said.
Tillerson later told his wife about the offer.
“I told you God’s not through with you,” he said his wife told him.
He added: “I was supposed to retire in March, this month. I was going to go to the ranch to be with my grandkids.”
Tillerson said he serves at the “pleasure of the president.”
“My wife convinced me,” he said. “She was right. I’m supposed to do this.”
Tillerson was confirmed as secretary of State in February, despite a late effort by Democrats to slow down the nomination.
