Why didn’t the Board of Directors see the handwriting on the wall or the stockholders make more noise? Why is it one person, Johnson, CEO, gets to ruin the company or are the Board of Directors also at fault.
A lot of people who have J.C. Penny stock have been hurt by this pandering idiot while he walks away with a humongous umbrella of benefits and left the people holding an empty bag.
Why can’t these executives BE ALL INCLUSIVE instead of handpick one group of people to follow – was he deliberately doing this so he could walk away the gold while the stockholders were left with the shaft? There should be a law against this kind of theft by CEO’s. They aren’t hurt but the stockholders are – it is time to put the blame where it belongs.
