Picture of Boehner playing golf with Obama
Boehner’s comments only tells us more about his affiliation with the Obama corruption. He retired because the kitchen was getting too hot.
This is why the Elite Republicans couldn’t get anything done – Boehner was a part of Obama’s crowd – remember, the only way you become a millionaire working for the government is if you are corrupt and just look at the Elite Republicans and how rich they are. We have to enact term limits to continue to clean the swamp..
This is why the Republicans couldn’t get anything done while Boehner was the House speaker and why he had to retire. We had eight years of this palsy-walsy stuff. Boehner is a member of the Elite Republicans and so is Paul Ryan. We will see how much Ryan will push through as he stated on Hannity’s program. From what I can see – they are going to continue to drag this one until people get fed up. All of that Ryan grinning and reassurance certainly made me suspicious of his sincerity. Really think we need a new speaker of the house.
Washington (CNN) — Former House Speaker John Boehner threw cold water Thursday on the prospect of congressional Republicans following through on their pledge to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
“They’ll fix Obamacare,” the former Ohio congressman predicted at a conference hosted by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society in Orlando, Florida. “I shouldn’t have called it repeal and replace because that’s not what’s going to happen. They’re basically going to fix the flaws and put a more conservative box around it.”
Boehner’s comments come as his former colleagues face an uncertain path forward on dismantling then-President Barack Obama’s signature achievement. The party has yet to settle on a replacement plan, and many members are facing criticism at town hall meetings this week from constituents who are upset about the potential ramifications of Republicans following through on the campaign pledge.
It is the Elite Republicans who are dragging their feet. Where are all of those bills they placed on Obama’s desk and Obama rejected them. Must have been a good plan if they were going to reject and replace it at that time. Paul Ryan is beginning to smell like a skunk.
The American people do not want words from Paul Ryan we want to see some action and sooner than later. We are tired of his and Mitch McConnell’s words. They have had eight years to prepare for this win; but, from what I can see they weren’t expecting a win – but a loss – so they could continue their charade and taking lobbyists’ money.
Good riddance of a corrupt politician (Boehner.).
