Let’s build that wall – ASAP. Most every home in Mexico has walls around it. No big deal and the southern part of Mexico has a wall . As far as taxing – when you purchase a ticket to fly into Mexico you pay the following taxes:
Mexico Tourism Tax which is for a round trip ticket = $23.18 per person and then you pay a Mexico Departure Tax which is for a round trip ticket = $38.54 per person.
–Total Mexico round trip taxes = $61.72 per person
Then:
The U.S. charges the following for a round trip ticket:
U.S. Custom’s fee = $5.50
U.S. Immigration User Fee = $7.00
U.S. APHIS User Fee – $5.00
U.S. Federal Transportation Tax = $35.00
Sept 11 Security Fee = $7.50
U.S. Passenger Facility Charge = $10.50
–Total U.S. Taxes = $70.50 per person round trip for U.S.
–Total Taxes = $132.22 per person for Round Trip Per Person to Mexico and Return to U.S.
So why can’t we use some of this money for the big wall into Mexico.
