KOMMONSENTSJANE – OBAMA’S LEGACY ATTACKED — BY LIBERALS

Obama’s legacy attacked… by liberals!

January 6, 2017

President Barack Obama absolutely insists that HE could’ve stopped the Trump Train if he had been allowed to run for a third term.
But that arrogant bit of make-believe doesn’t match reality.
Voters didn’t just reject Hillary Clinton’s three decades of corruption and incompetence… they were also rejecting OBAMA – and even his core supporters admit it.
“As a liberal, it pains me to say the following: President Barack Obama believes he would have beaten Donald Trump, but he’s probably wrong,” confessed Politico’s Bill Scher.
The reason is simple: He did not deliver on even his most basic promises.
“(Obama) let us down,” progressive radio host Bill Press wrote last year. “He simply failed to lead.”
And by running an ego-driven White House built on executive orders and ignoring Congress, he’s trampled all over the Constitution.

Liberals have noticed.
“The best we can say now is that, even for those like me who admire Barack Obama, the constitutional record is disturbingly mixed,” noted The Atlantic’s Garrett Epps. “Obama leaves the Constitution weaker than at the beginning of his terms.”
Considering the wild claims from the left of how President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney trampled on the Constitution, that’s quite the confession.
But it’s been clear for a while that the nation’s fed up.
Two years ago, famed Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward painted a picture of an out-of-touch, arrogant, elitist president who refused to engage his own party.
“You get the Democrats in private, and they are on fire just because he won’t spend the time, because he won’t listen,” he said on “Face The Nation” on CBS. “He’s capable of changing and engaging in that outreach, and he just needs to do it and kind of get out of this bubble that he seems to be living in.”
That was in 2014, and Woodward wasn’t the only one complaining.
Democratic operative Paul Begala accurately predicted his party would suffer a huge defeat during the midterm elections that year.
But even before that even happened, Begala was already Obama for claiming that the election was a referendum on his policies and his legacy.
“This is Politics 101: Always make it about the voters, not about yourself,” he said, according to The New York Times. “I don’t understand it. It was an unforced error at a time we can ill afford them.”

Did he learn? Of course not!
As the 2016 election grew closer, his arrogance grew along with it… and he made it even MORE about himself.
“I will consider it a personal insult – an insult to my legacy – if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election,” he warned black voters.

“You want to give me a good sendoff? Go vote.”
They didn’t. And when they did, some of them even voted for Trump, who did better among blacks than Mitt Romney in 2012.
Looks like voters chose to insult him… and his legacy along with it.

Obama clearly stated that he wanted to fundamentally change America; and in the past eight years he did exactly what he said he would do! The only think wrong with this is that no one ever bothered to ask Obama what he was changing us into and not that we don’t like it whose fault is it?
