When would Donald Trump not have to pay any taxes in a given year?

Following is to establish the ground rules –  Charles is an Elitist and does not like Trump – that is a given!

It seems Charles Krauthammer  and Hillary Clinton don’t know much about the construction business. He questioned Trump’s remarks in the debate when Hillary Clinton was making off-color remarks about Trump and his paying any taxes. Charles did not like Trump’s statement about Hillary saying that Trump did not pay any taxes and Trump replied, “That makes me smart.”   Just to give him and her some personal information- .  Some years a person may not make any money when the project is not completed and the money is reported when it is actually received.  So, Charles, if you don’t make any money you don’t have to pay any taxes – plain and simple.  Now you know!
