If you are brain-washed by these college professors, remember they are part of the problem (the colleges and professors are in cahoots with the government)  in why you are so deep in debt and can’t find a good-paying job.  You cannot hang out with negative people and expect to live a positive life.  Be smart enough to hold on.   Be brave enough to let go.  Think for yourself.
