Subject:  The End Of Prayer Shaming

East Catholic High School A Cappella Group (Archdiocese of Hartford)

The following video is in response to a Senator’s remark about,

‘Where is God in all the tragedy in the world?’

Is anyone interested in making this go viral?  If so, go for it!  Let’s see how far we can make it go.

Enough is enough. It’s time to take a stand. Today, students at East Catholic High School rise up and declare that we’re more concerned with God than we are with being politically correct.

We encourage you to do the same. Please watch our video – then share it with your friends and encourage them to share it as well. Tag a friend, a community leader, or even the media. Let’s get this powerful message out there.

No more prayer shaming. Let’s bring God and prayer back into our lives.

You can watch and share this video on our East Catholic High School Facebook page.

What an excellent, well-made video, and what a right-on message! You kids have made a wonderful, thought-provoking video, and should be commended for taking a firm stand for what you believe.

Well done, excellent, you should be proud of this!

This restores my faith in the future generation WAY TO GO CHILDREN. Excellent video.

Excellent video! Wonderful message! Everyone wound benefit from seeing this. Well, most folks would I think! Thank you!

True Message – for all human beings!

Way to go students and staff of East Catholic High School!!! Coming through loud and clear.Yes, love is the answer to our troubled world.  God is love and He is missing in the lives of so many who want to be politically correct.  I,  for one,  am fed up with being “Politically Correct”. America and all Nations, fall on your knees and recognize who is really in command. He will have the last word whether we believe or not. Once again, thank you East Catholic High School – may your video go viral!

This brought me to tears. Thank you so much for making this video and thank you even more for being so right!!!

Love the message. More people need to rethink how bad things are today.
There is very real persecution of Christians across the globe. In North Korea, Christians can be executed for gathering together for worship. In Iraq, Christians are prey for terrorist groups that kill anyone who does not bow down to their particular version of Islam. In February of 2015, 21 Coptic Christians were beheaded simply because they were Christian.

Reports indicate that many of them called on the name of Jesus just before they were viciously murdered. Persecution watchdog group, Open Doors, has identified fifty of the most dangerous places in the world for Christianity in which believers suffer a range of tribulations from “severe” persecution to “sparse” persecution. The United States is not on the list. So for every teary-eyed Evangelical, Catholic, and Protestant who shivers at night because of the impending persecution in the United States — you are not even sparsely persecuted here.

The call to prayer is so wonderfully conveyed by this video. This is about getting all Americans to return to praying for our nation rather than casting out God as the politically correct, liberal elite would have us do. It is greatly encouraging to see a group of young people take a stand for prayer in America when the ACLU and so many others are trying to outlaw it and banish any references to God.

Yes, there is persecution of Christians throughout the world, in most places far worse than here. But does that mean Christianity is not shamed here?  One wonders if most people are aware of the fact that the so-called separation of church and state in this country is a fabrication by the Supreme Court. One wonders if people know that the 1st Amendment, which was designed to protect the church from the federal government, has been turned on its head to protect the federal government from the church. One wonders if people saw the videos of Muslims shooting fireworks at the Cologne Cathedral and if everyone is okay with that and thinks we should put up with it here too because Christians are suffering even worse elsewhere.

It is time for Christians to join these young people in singing loud and clear that America IS a Christian nation and want all Christians to share this message throughout the world.
