Did Fox burst your bubble?
The earliest that I could find the phrase to burst someone’s bubble in writing was around the 1860’s, and it carries the same meaning today.
They actually strove to burst our bubble, complicity with the design, and so openly, boldly, and circumstantially was this done, that some people were staggered by the attack on the Executive.
After thinking about the debates, my heart is very heavy this morning. I was so disappointed in the way Fox handled the debate. It seemed all of the questions for the bulk of the people were strictly for the moderator to ask a question that would most certainly cause some fire works. In other words, sensationalize the program.
The questions that were asked of Trump were all personal questions and had nothing to do with being the leader of the country. Most of the other participants were asked question that did pertain to running the country. Was this done on purpose to make Trump look bad? The question asked whether he would commit to the Republican Party should have been done in private and not to embarrass anyone. A statement could have been made before the debate in regards to that fact. What an ambush! A lot of time was wasted on this question that could have been used for more important ones.
Ted Cruz was most impressive when talking about running the government. At this point – the horses are all out there still at the starting gate and we will now wait for the next debate which we hope will have more quality questions and we will then have more to judge our candidates. Now that they have gotten all of the petty politics out-of-the-way – maybe next time we can have a real debate with some new moderators. The gotcha questions are not acceptable in a serious debate about issues.
The other item that is now bothering me which we found out the day of the debates is the fact that Trump called Bill Clinton before he announced that he was running. Why would he call Bill Clinton before his announcement. The Clinton’s are not trustworthy people as we all have learned from their past dealings.
We pray every day that this woman is cast aside by the public for what she is! The fact that Trump commiserated with Bill Clinton certainly puts a kink in his armor as far as I am concerned. My hope is that somehow these people will be put out to pasture with the Bush’s. Why do we want people to be in the government when they are for this new world order and the fact they are progressives. Dear Lord, please show us the way!
