Decisions, decisions? How quickly do you make decisions? Do you make off- the-cuff decisions or do you agonize over a decision? How do you work at making a decision? People who agonize over every alternative are called (maximizers) and end up less content then people who don’t. We call these people (satisfiers). These people are faster at drawing to a conclusion and are happier in the process. So – first, what is the decision to be made, how will it affect me, does it fit my budget (if appropriate), what will be the end result? In the end, the process might be as simple as telling yourself, “stop it.” Decisions made by anyone charts the course their life takes; and, in the end, this decision is the road map of their personal history. Have you reviewed your road map lately – if I would have done this differently – this would have happened, etc.? But once a decision is made in most cases it is a done deal and we have to live with it and there is no reason to “cry over spilt milk.” Always learn from your decisions and move on in life! Remember, happiness is a state of mind that includes well being and contentment that you control.
