A LOOSE CANNON

Reference my blog dated May 27, 2014, entitled, “National Football League versus Democrats.”  It looks like Harry Reid is not going to let up on the name change for the Washington Redskins.  In fact, he threatened to stop going to the games a few weeks ago until they change their name.  Adios, Harry, we certainly do not want anyone going to the games when they feel like  you do about the name.  Why is Harry investing so much time on the floor of the Senate to mulligrub about this name? What kind of stake does this politician have invested in the name change?   Something smells to high heaven. Now it seems this politician has put pressure on the U.S. Patent Office to revoke six of the patents on the Redskins name which will cause monetary loss for the players and the owners.  It also reduces the value of the name itself when it is put on the market. This Mr. Harry is stooping to the lowest common denominator in the U.S. besides breaking the law.  In fact, it is unconstitutional – what are the rights of the owner of the patents?  Now we will give Mr. Harry a new name – we will call him “El Dictator,”  At the present time we have  60 high schools whose mascot and names are called the “Redskins” in the U.S. – some are even Native Americans.  So what now, Mr. Harry?

What about the real problems like – Iraq, Veterans Administration, IRS, Benghazi, Obamacare, and Fast and Furious.  Why aren’t you trying to solve those problems instead of sitting on your backside worrying about a little old football team’s name.  I think Mr. Harry needs to retire cause his brain is just  not ticking and is stuck on “stupid.”  We must have mandatory retirement at 75 or 80 and put all of these youngsters out to pasture.
