With the overload at the border, Bill O’Reilly was interviewing the National Border Patrol Council Union representative Chris Cabrera about the situation. My feeling about the interview was that Chris was too complacent about the whole deal. I think that is the problem with all government workers. They are so fed up with the way the laws are being handled that their hands are tied and they have no choice but to not do anything.
Listening to Luis Gutierrez who is a congressmen and who put his hand on that Bible and pledged he would uphold the Constitution, he stated that Obama needed to use that pen and phone to pass immigration with an executive order. Does that sound like he is upholding the Constitution?
And then our leader who knows nothing and does nothing. Why are the people letting one person, like him, continue to destroy this country. That is millions of people are letting one person get his jollies by showing the American people he can do whatever he wants. Surely there is a law on the books that can hold him incompetent with all of the scandals tied on his back! Is it that none of our leaders have the fortitude to stand up and hold him incompetent? I know Boehner won’t because he has had many chances to challenge him and does nothing but go along to get along. Now that Cantor is out, we must move on to hope that Boehner retires or the Congress does some reshuffling of the deck chairs in the leaders area. Right now, Boehner and Reid are helping this leader ruin this country.
The biggest problem we have is the many years that these congressmen and women and senators remain in office. We must have a mandatory retirement of possibly 80 years of age and no more than two terms in office. The majority of corporations have a mandatory retirement age of 75 which is a good age. We have too many people who are too old and have been in the government too long and therefore are too incompetent and complacent.
