Do all women love purses like I do?  We have little purses, then our favorite purses, big purses, and big, big purses. We have all colors and then multi-colored purses, evening purses, blue jean purses , and then purses to match a particular outfit.  It seems that purses just don’t wear out except for your favorite everyday purse because we tend to throw it around and fill it to the brim.  When changing purses to go out on-the-town, some purses just don’t have enough space to carry the essentials.  So, what do we do – it is called the process of elimination – what do I really need to take me through whatever it is I am about to do? When we travel and are at the airport, I always notice women’s and men’s bags or purses.  It has gotten to the point the purses are as large as the carry-on luggage.  It has been reported that United Airlines will be taking another look at what we call a purse and a carry-on because there isn’t enough room under the seat in front of us to the push the purse in place because of the size.   The definition of a purse is: a small bag for carrying money or a larger bag of leather, etc.,  used by women for carrying money, cosmetics, keys, etc.  So, it looks like we have be caught at our own game – it is not a purse any longer – it should be called a tote bag.
