The politics of envy was on proud display a couple of weeks ago when President Obama pledged the rest of his term to fighting, “income inequality.” As we know income refers to money earned and inequality means the condition of not being even or regular – unevenness. He noted that some people make more than other people, that some people have higher incomes than others, and he says – that is not just. That is the rationale of thievery. In other words – the other guy has it – you want it to give to someone who did not earn it.
There are two Americas which have been hatched with this administration. The America that works and the America that does not. It is not the have’s and the have-nots – it is the do’s and the don’ts. Some people do their duty as an American, obey the laws, support themselves, contribute to society and others do not. It is not about income inequality, it is about civic irresponsibility. It is about this administration and its political party that preaches hatred, greed, and victimization in order to win elective office. It is about a political party that loves power more than it loves the country. That is not invective – it is the truth.
It is hard to understand our leader preaching “income inequality.” This leader does not believe in capitalism; but, yet, he started out with nothing and look at his worth today. Is he angry that he and his wife have made so much money and feel victimized? Are they going to throw their millions in this pot of income inequality and divide it with the people of the country? This leader is a product of the “Saul Alinsky” movement of class warfare – divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take from the rich and give to the poor, establish an upper class and an under class, pit the blacks against the whites, pit the gays against the straights, and the undocumented aliens against the citizens. And in the end, cause division and push the buttons to inflame both sides.
I ask you Mr. President, is that the legacy that you want to leave – class warfare and pot is no worse than alcohol statements? Is that it? As you can tell, your administration has not been successful on “either my way or the highway.” It looks like your way is the one that is on the highway to nowhere – even though you have a pen and a phone. Since your way has not been working and your poll numbers are going down – why don’t you try something different like going up the hill and working with both parties. Whoever is your advisor is steering you in the wrong direction. You still have time to be an agreeable fellow!
