Governor Martin O’Malley a democrat from Maryland spoke at the King Day gathering and I was so disappointed in his speech.  Where was the inspiration to a group of people who have sacrificed greatly and worked heroically to overcome their lot in life in spite of the pitfalls of the Socialist Democratic Party.  His statement, “people of color are valued less than whites.”  I assume this was from the prism of his own eyes.  He certainly does not speak for the nation.  What an insulting comment and put-down!  It insulted me and I am not even black.  Instead, why didn’t he speak about the road blocks the blacks face with the teachers’ union in educating their children.  Why didn’t he speak about the failure of the family structure in the black community with 72% of mothers who are not married.  The 16 million black children who never got to see the light of day because of abortion!  Why didn’t he talk about the main stream media who won’t cover black on black crime?  The black community is a tough lot and they can put up with wars, recessions, or anything you throw at them; but, their party must change to lift up these people instead of keep tearing them down.  I wish that I could have written his speech!
