It seems in the hearings today the government representative said “they did not have the necessary receipts” for all of the seminars that were attended by the individuals at the IRS.  Gee, that means they have to go back to square one and retrieve them or they don’t get to use them in filing their taxes.  I would love to know “how many people at the IRS have ever  received an audit letter and have been audited?”  Now,  let’s see,  who will audit the auditor?  As the old saying goes, what is good for the goose is good for the gander, right?
