Columbia University has added another unusually outstanding scholar to its faculty. It seems that she was chosen out of other qualified professors. This is a women who recently completed a twenty-year prison sentence for robbery and murder (three breadwinners killed). It is hard to believe that her resume’ was chosen over the others. Would you want your children to select this university to attend and end up with this person as their professor? I am sorry – I know she has paid her dues; but, what could she possibly have in common with the students in the classroom? What kind of example could she possible set for the students? What qualifications did she have that she took a good position away from others who have not been to prison or was that a part of the qualifications that you had to have prison experience?
